Chapter 870

Melanie covered her bleeding nose, tears streaming down her face. She looked pitiful with her crying and nosebleed.

Kyle narrowed his eyes and spoke sternly, "Is that so?"

He glanced at Zoe, who was in his arms, and asked, "Zoe, did you hurt Melanie?"

Zoe heard Kyle’s stern voice and nodded reluctantly with teary eyes. "Yes. But—"

Before Zoe could explain, Kyle interrupted her. "You've become more disobedient."

Zoe bit her lip, thinking that Kyle was angry with her. Tears welled up in her eyes.

It was Melanie’s fault that she grabbed her necklace and called her names which caused Zoe to retaliate physically.

Melanie implored, "Kyle, even though we've canceled our engagement, we should still be friends, right? You can't let your girlfriend treat me like this!"

Kyle, cradling Zoe's shoulder, sat down on the couch and played with her hand. His tone was gentle as he said, "My dear Zoe has always been gentle and obedient, like a little kitten. If someone hadn't provoked her first, s
