Mable stared at the man she loved wholeheartedly, feeling her eyes welling up.

Mabel fixated on Blair and responded with never-before solemnity. “I do!”

Her voice was resounding.

The pastor then turned to Blair. “Mr. Blair Fowler, do you take Ms. Mable Jefferson to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you promise—”
