The statement was like a bolt from the blue for Summer. She became furious. “You’ve always paid for me! Why did you bring me to the mall when you’re broke?”

North tilted her head in confusion and asked, “You’re the one who said you wanted to come to the mall to buy clothes, so I accompanied you. Summer, did you buy too much and couldn’t pay up?”

The people around them immediately looked at Summer strangely.

Summer’s face turned red with rage. “I don’t care! You have to pay for me anyway!”

After saying this, she yelled at the store manager, “Ask her to pay! She has plenty of money!”

The store manager hesitated a bit.

North pretended to be upset. “Summer, I considered you as a friend, and you just want me to pay?”

“I’m not your mother. You’re already in your twenties, yet you want me to pay for you when you spend money so recklessly.”

Summer became agitated. “We’re relatives, and you can’t even help me with this little favor? If you don’t help me pay, I’ll tell your grandfather!
