The people were confused.

“What did she mean by that? Could it be that Mr. Shelby gave her suggestions in order to set Reina Myers up?”

“Makes sense. After this comes to light, Reina Myers will end up as the plagiarizer, and she won’t be able to inherit Myers Corporation.”

“If Mr. Shelby is the one masterminding this, then Reina Myers might not even know that she stole North Myers’s idea.”

Mr. Shelby saw Linda’s gaze, and he trembled. He put on an expression as if he had given up on fighting back. “That’s right! I did it! I did it all for Ms. North! Mr. Henry is useless and has his judgment clouded by you! How can he even think about handing the company over to his stepdaughter?! I can’t just watch Myers Corporation be driven to ruin!”

Then, he looked at North. “Ms. North, I’m sorry! I wanted to accuse Reina Myers of plagiarism after the brooch designs came out, but her fans were faster! I’m sorry you had to go through that!”
