Epilogue 1 - Massimo

One of Massimo’s worst nightmare was hearing his wife scream in pain. But he could never have imagined it would happen on what should have been one of the happiest days of his life.

“Oh, Jesus…” Alice whimpered, tears falling from the corner of her eyes as another contraction seemed to hit her, making her face contort in pain “Oh my God!” Her scream echoed throughout the delivery room, at the same time that Alice squeezed his hand as hard as she could, almost as if her life depended on it.
