Charlotte’s POV

I walked down the hall and knocked on Casey's door, "Are you there?"

"Come in." She opened the door, and my eyes landed on her dirty white pajamas with a red stain.

I saw a lot of empty wine bottles on the floor, and she looked like she was in a mess. I had never seen her like this before, and my mouth dropped open as I asked, "So what happened to you?"

She bit her nails, and drank the last glass of wine, and said, “My mother wants me to date Logan…”

I frowned, “Logan? Who?”

She looked at me worried and said, "You know how much I love my singing career. The arts are also my life. I don't want to get married, and I don't want one guy to ruin our friendship."

My lips quiver as I realized what she meant, “Do you mean, Logan? My ex-husband?”
