101. Our Daughter

Fabian’s POV

I watched as she drifted off to sleep while I held her in my arms. While she was sleeping today, I had the impression that she was having some difficulty with her head, so I supported her head with my arms and leaned her on my chest. It is such a relief that I finally have her in my control.

I couldn't help but chuckle when I realized that all of my plans had been successful this time; all I had to do was wait for Miguel to leave before stealing Charlotte and Abby away from him. Because if I made a poor choice, Abby and Charlotte would be at risk, and I know that Miguel would make a terrible choice if he couldn't have what he wanted, which was to kill, and I don't want to put my family in that situation.

I gently awoke her because we had arrived at our destination, and her face turned scarlet as she glanced at me and asked, "Where is my daughter?"
