The masked man had already walked a distance away from them when Adeline came to her senses. She turned and looked at Culver questioningly.

Culver shrugged and looked at Adeline, "Well, since he's fine with it, come and join us!"

"Right, okay then. I'll be with you both in a moment. Let me make a call to my friend first."

Adeline's heart was pounding hard in her chest. Somehow, her guts told her that it wasn't a wise choice to have a meal with them. However, the masked man didn't even give her a chance to refuse them.
