Chapter 71

After Veronica left, I felt an unbearable sting. The regret began to eat me up. I started hating myself for my horrible actions.

I knew this was the result of my actions and to save whatever I could, I decided to meet Sam so I could convince him to take back the case at least.

“I would like to meet Sam.”

“Sir is not present but he will be here soon.”
