35. Amusement Park

"You promised!" Luna exclaimed with a sharp look.

Sam could not move anymore. Blame him for not checking his schedule before making an appointment with Luna. Now, he must choose between Luna and his important meeting.

"Um, I know, it's just that this meeting is really important. I'll be back as soon as it's over!" Sam is still trying to persuade Luna.

Luna shook her head quickly. For her, a man must be able to hold his word. Sam had promised before, so like it or not Sam had to keep his promise.

"Do you know, Sam? Once you break your promise, people won't believe your other promises!" Luna exclaimed while turning her attention to the boiling water above the pot.

Luna immediately took the instant noodles that were nearby and put the noodles into the pot.

Sam could only sigh heavily, and in slow motion, he took his cell phone and sent a message to Jake to temporarily replace him at the meeting. Considering it was an important meeting, Sam couldn't entrust the meeting to anyone but Jake.
