"Alice, why are you staring off into space like that?"

After finishing work and on the way home, Rumi wondered why the girl sitting next to him had been so quiet. From her serious expression, it was clear that his sister-in-law was deep in thought.

Rumi figured it must still be related to what happened at the office earlier that day. However, he didn’t know exactly what was making Alice so lost in thought.
