We have a problem

Xavier's POV 

In the car ....

"She's a really nice girl"

"She helped me when nobody would have"

"I'm sure she'll take good care of you"

"You probably frustrated her" 

"And obviously you did, you took her taxi!!"

"You wouldn't accept it if someone does that to you either" Mom said.

"But still ..."

"You want me to support you , but I won't do that"

"You were wrong " she said sternly and I remained mute.

"What can I do to make you stop this mom"

"Nothing" she replied curtly.

"Get your house organized , she's moving in tommorow" she added .

"And get your car fixed" 

"Or better still , change it , it's getting pretty old" she said and I nodded.

"How are things going at the office " she asked.

"Great!"

"And the Beurna corp project?!"

"We're pushing through" I replied.

"You should do whatever you can to make sure none of your uncle's plan succeeds" she said and I nodded.

"That's great then!".

Since I can't stop Mom from making me marry her , I might as well frustrated the hell out of her and make her call it quit.

I wonder what Mom has on her though, that made her agree to get married to me.

After a while the driver got to my house.

"All I'm doing , I do for your own good"

"I just want you to get over Rose that's all, she has ruined your life enough" she said softly this time and I nodded.

"Take care Mom" I muttered 

"And please , let's stop talking about Rose" I added and came down as I walked into the house.

"So how does your bride to be look" was the first question Miguel asked me immediately he picked up my call.

"You won't believe it dude, she looked so plain no special features" I replied scrunching up my nose in disgust.

"On a scale of 1-10?!" He asked.

"Quarter of one" I replied sharply and he laughed.

"Now , I know you're exaggerating" he said.

"No I'm not, she's not even in anyway what I want in a woman" I said.

"The most annoying part of it is that she's a brunette" I added .

"I know you're just saying this things because you don't want to get married"

"Until I see her myself, I don't want to believe she's as bad as you're describing her" he said and I rolled my eyes to the back of my head .

"She's actually that bad" I replied.

"She'll be at the office from Monday , you'll see for yourself"

"I hear you" he replied.

"Let's talk later man, I really have somewhere to be at" he said and ended the call .

Ariel's POV

6:30 pm ...

"Three words!"

"It was terrible!!" I said to Olivia immediately I walked into the house, flinging my bag to anywhere it landing

"It can't be that bad" she said .

"Actually it was more than bad, it was worse" I repeated.

"He didn't even wait for me to leave before he said how he felt about me"

"Right there Infront of me, he talked me to the ground"

"He actually stripped me of any form of reputation" I said as I began to give her full details of how the meeting went.

"Now I feel really guilty for allowing you push through with the plan" Olivia said in a low voice.

"I should have just taken up multiple Loans" 

"No ,no"

"Don't do that " I said to her.

"It's not your fault "I added 

 "I should have been more responsible and made enough money before mom's situation worsened" I added 

  "We'll get through this " she forced a smile

"That , i know" 

 "Now before this gets too emotional, I'm hungry!" I muttered

  Olivia chuckled 

"You just had to ruin the moment" 

"So I guess you'll be moving in with him soon" Olivia said grabbing a slice of pizza 

  "Yes , too soon " I rolled my eyes

"I seriously don't know how I'm going to live with that arrogant jerk , he's so annoying, " 

  "How could he just degrade a girl like that" I muttered getting annoyed again.

  Just remembering what he did back then made my blood boil.

  Like what the heck happened to me !

Why wasn't I able to say anything?

Ugh

Right now I feel like going back to meet him and give him a piece of my mind .

  "We will be fine " she smiled 

I hope.

"We will be" she repeated.

"But seriously, I'm really gonna miss you" she said and I gave her a small smile.

"What do you mean you'll miss me, you'll come visiting right?!"

"I'll still see you everyday yeah?!"

"Still doesn't feel like living together" she replied and I nodded.

"It's just for a short while".

"Our lives Will be back to normal soon" I said and she nodded.

My phone began to ring , I brought it out and looked at it, it was the hospital.

I looked up at Olivia suddenly, the operation was successful why would the hospital possibly be calling me.

Xavier's POV

Immediately after my call with Miggy , I went into the kitchen to make cereal at least have something to eat in all of these frustrations.

I heard my phone ring and I groaned!. Oh no I just hope it isn't mom , I've had enough of her today.

I picked up my phone and it was the temporary assistant at the office.

He was due to leave already but I was still just holding him because we have not found anyone.

But now I think we have someone .

*Sighs.

Why would he possibly be calling me by this time and on a Saturday ?!.

I dropped the cup I was holding wiped my hands with the back of my trouser and picked up my phone.

"What's going on" I asked immediately I picked up the call

"Boss, we have a problem" he said .

"What is it "

"One of the shareholder is questioning your ownership of the company"

"What are you talking about and how am I just getting to know about this"

"We didn't know he was going to push through with it" 

"Your grandfather's rules stated that the company can only be handed to you once you're married" 

"And then you're not, so he wants your uncle to fill in your position until you get Married"

"Why aren't they suggesting my dad take it"

"Your dad isn't in the position to, he has all other things to take care of"

I sighed.

"You don't have to worry about that situation has been sorted"

"What?!, You're already married boss" he asked.

"If that's all?!" I asked instead rolling my eyes at his questions.

"That's all " he said and I ended the call.

I sighed and walked back into the kitchen. 

I'm really beginning to suspect uncle Mark , is Mom really right about him?!.

Even if I don't want this , at this point I really have to do it !!.
