A wave of emotions surged through Damien, but he quickly composed himself. Holding Aurora tightly, he carried her out of the study.

Damien took her to his bedroom, his mind replaying the events from the study. He carried her into the bathroom and gently cleaned her up. Afterward, he laid her on the bed, tucking her under the soft sheets. She stirred slightly, her lips parting as though she wanted to say something, but sleep claimed her once more.

Sitting at the edge of the bed, Damien reached out to brush a stray strand of hair from her face. His gaze softened as he took in her peaceful expression. She looked so small, so fragile, and yet there was a strength in her that he deeply admired.

The sight of the blood on the desk had unsettled him. He knew she had been hesitant, and he silently cursed himself for not being more careful. But her words echoed in his mind: I love you, Damien.

It wasn’t the first time someone had said those words to him—even from Aurora—but this time, they felt

“You should sign here, miss,” the judge said, pointing to the document. Aurora hesitated but finally signed. A picture was taken, and she still couldn’t believe her fragile heart was enduring all this. On a night she decided to stand up for her weak emotions, everything had changed.Damien had just officially registered their marriage. After the photo was taken, Damien took her hand, and they walked out towards his car. Onlookers, including couples who were there to get registered, stared in amazement. The figure that had just passed looked incredibly familiar. Hidden photos were taken of the newlyweds as they walked to their car.Damien helped Aurora settle into the car before climbing into the seat beside her. Simon then drove off.“Drop her at the mansion,” Damien instructed as Simon parked the car in the VIP garage of the company.“Damien,” Aurora called, causing him to turn.“Whatever you need, tell Simon. Whatever she asks for, don’t hesitate,” Damien said curtly. Without lookin

It was already snowing heavily outside. Simon watched as Agatha rubbed her hands, which made him remove his coat.“Wear this; it will keep you warm,” she said, but Agatha shook her head.“Despite the heater in here, you’re still cold. I won’t give it to you next time. Take it,” he said, and Agatha took the coat. As she put it on, Simon’s phone began to ring.“Shit!” he cursed, biting his lips.“Who’s that?” she asked, and Simon gave her a silent gesture.“Boss,” he picked up, standing up with his body tense.“Is my wife at home?” Damien’s voice came through, silent and cold.“Not yet, boss,” Simon said, biting his lips.“Where is she, Simon?” he asked, and Simon hit his forehead.“She’s at the hospital, boss,” he said, and Damien’s already frowning face deepened.“How dare you, Simon?” Damien’s voice came in anger, making Simon’s hands shake. Agatha wondered what might be going on, seeing the agile man earlier shiver.“Text the address,” Damien said and hung up.At the Vladimir villa,

  • Married to a heartless billionaire    Thanksgiving

The room was silent. Aurora glanced around, her mind restless. For some reason, the image of the girl she had seen at the restaurant and again at the hospital lingered, nagging at her memory. She looked familiar, yet Aurora couldn’t quite place her. It was morning, and Damien had retreated to his study. Aurora had moved in with him, but life here was restrictive. Stella no longer had the freedom to come and go as she pleased, and the monotony was beginning to weigh on her. Aurora picked up her new phone but soon set it down, wandering to the balcony instead. The labyrinth that had once trapped her lay just below Damien’s balcony, its intricate paths still a mystery. She smiled faintly, imagining what might have happened if Damien hadn’t come to her rescue that day. Even now, looking at it from above was disorienting. She sighed and sank into a cushion by the balcony, absentmindedly rubbing her stomach. A soft smile crept across her face. Away from everything, life felt calmer. Even

Aurora flinched but quickly steadied herself. “It is for you,” she countered, her voice rising. “You think I don’t notice how much you bottle up? How cold you are to everyone—including me?” He stiffened, his hazel eyes narrowing. “Aurora…” “No, let me finish,” she said, her voice trembling but firm. “You act like you don’t care, but I know you do. Deep down, you care about your grandfather. You’re just too stubborn to admit it.” For a moment, silence hung between them, thick and suffocating. Damien’s jaw tightened as he studied her, as if trying to decide whether to be angry or amused. “You’re braver than I thought,” he finally said, his voice softer now. Aurora took a shaky breath, relieved that he hadn’t pushed her away. “I’m not trying to fight with you,” she said gently. “I just think… maybe it’s time you stop shutting everyone out.” Damien stared at her for a long moment before sighing deeply and rubbing a hand over his face. “Fine,” he said at last, his tone laced wi

Aurora turned quickly, startled by Damien’s sudden presence. He stood tall and imposing, his sharp hazel eyes flicking between her and Beverly. Beverly took a step back, momentarily startled, before her composure slid effortlessly into place. “Not at all,” she said smoothly, her tone deceptively casual. “Just catching up.” Damien’s sharp gaze didn’t waver as Beverly turned on her heel and walked away, her stiff posture betraying the calm facade she tried to maintain. Damien’s focus shifted back to Aurora. “Is there a problem?” Aurora hesitated, her heart pounding. “No,” she replied, forcing a casual tone. She discreetly slipped the vial into her pocket and met his penetrating gaze. “Nothing serious.” His hazel eyes narrowed, suspicion evident. He stepped closer, his commanding presence making her breath hitch. “Aurora, what did she say to you?” “Just… small talk,” she lied, plastering a weak smile on her face. “It’s fine, really.” He studied her, his expression unreadabl

The room was deathly quiet, and the tension was palpable. Damien stood before Audrey, his cold, calculating gaze boring into the man who dared to upset his world. Every muscle in his body screamed for him to act—to punish the man who had brought so much pain to Aurora. But Damien held himself back. Not for Audrey’s sake, but for Aurora. She deserved to have a say in his punishment.Audrey’s face was pale as sweat trickled down his temples. He had never felt fear like this before. The silent wrath of the man before him was suffocating, and he knew he was staring into the eyes of death itself.“I didn’t know she was married, I swear!” Audrey’s voice trembled, his words barely coherent. “I wouldn’t have approached her if I’d known—please, believe me!”Damien’s expression remained stone-cold. He stepped closer, his presence as oppressive as a storm cloud. “You’ll remain here until she wakes up,” he said, his voice cutting through the silence like a blade. “If anything happens to her or ou

Sara’s hands trembled as she clutched her phone. The image of Damien Vladimir—his imposing stature, piercing gaze, and commanding aura—stared back at her from the screen. The headline accompanying the photo detailed his immense wealth, influence, and ruthlessness. Her breath hitched as the realization hit her like a tidal wave. “Aurora? Married to him?” Sara whispered in disbelief, her voice shaky. Her mind reeled, trying to reconcile the innocent orphan she once knew with the wife of one of New York’s most powerful men. She glanced back at Agatha, whose arms were crossed as she studied Sara with a mix of pity and disdain. “She’s not the orphan girl you remember, Sara,” Agatha said sharply, her tone laced with finality. “Aurora is Mrs. Aurora Damien Vladimir. And your boyfriend? He just signed his death warrant by messing with her.” “No… no!” Sara shook her head vehemently, tears brimming in her eyes. “Audrey didn’t know! He didn’t mean to upset anyone!” Agatha’s expression harden

I’ll take my leave,” John said and left. “You’re fired,” Damien said as he entered the elevator with Aurora. “Boss, I’m sorry, he—” The manager tried to plead, but the elevator doors closed. “You can’t just fire—” “It’s my company, my rules. I warned him. My father’s presence here—I should be informed. He disobeyed me. I would have sent him to the hospital before firing him, but you’re here. I don’t want to traumatize you,” Damien said. Aurora walked into the wardrobe where Damien was, after she was done eating. That’s very unnecessary,” she said as she opened another box.“Oh, Damien…” she muttered upon seeing it was filled with tampons.“Go and bathe. I’ll select clothes for you to wear. John drank his life away. The fact that his father’s death didn’t hurt him as much as seeing his wife having an affair did. He wanted to press her neck and choke her, but he loved her so much that doing so would feel like hurting himself.“Where’s my mother?” Daniel walked in.“I told you to leave,” John said, standing up from the couch.“I’ve called you father my whole life, not knowing you killed my real father. Still, I don’t care. The only person I don’t want to see in this family is Damien, because he is the reason I’m seen as a man with no use. So—”“Shut up and leave, Daniel. You have no right to say who you want to see and who you don’t,” John said, then turned to leave.“I will burn the Vladimirs to the ground,” Daniel said, causing John to smirk.“I’ll watch you try. A little reminder—Damien is not a man to play with. He’s been easy with you because of his grandpa, but now he’s gone. And your mother killed him. He’ll put a bullet through your heart without thinking. That’s t

The ride was silent. Damien looked at Aurora through the rearview mirror as she folded herself in the back seat and cried. He didn’t understand why she was crying. He stepped out and carried the sleeping Aurora in his arms.“Open the door, Alexa,” he commanded, and the gate opened. Damien walked in while carrying Aurora. • Married to a heartless billionaire    Who is he?

John knew one thing for sure—messing with Damien was never a good idea. Upon finding out about their grandfather’s death and who was responsible, he vowed to make sure the person suffered emotionally, physically, and mentally. He knew Ciara had killed his father. That night, when he woke up and saw she wasn’t in bed, he assumed she was in the bathroom. But when he checked and didn’t find her there, he simply returned to bed. He hadn’t been surprised—but he was shocked that his suspicions had been right. He didn’t take action. He felt guilty for killing Daniel’s father, so he bore the responsibility. That was why he couldn’t let her leave the villa as Damien had demanded. But what he was hearing and seeing now—his body couldn’t contain the anger. The sounds of erotic moans filled the room. Ciara immediately grabbed her phone to switch it off. The message sent to her earlier was an erotic video—of her and her sugar boy. John couldn’t take it. He yanked the phone from her hands. “Jo

Damien wasn’t in the mood to joke around with Daniel Babiah’s tantrums. Normally, he wouldn’t have confronted Ciara after the DNA test showed that the skin from his grandfather’s finger matched hers. She was the reason his mother died, and now she had sent his grandfather to the grave with her own hands. His eyes scanned her body until they landed on a small bandage on her arm.“Are you insane?” Daniel looked at Damien after the heavy accusation.“I refuse to let you drag me into a mess. Why would I kill Grand—”Without another word, Damien grabbed Daniel by the neck with force. He had no time for her denial. Since she killed his grandfather for her son, he would make her confess—because of that same son.“Let me go!” Daniel struggled, but it was like a giant gripping a human’s neck. Ciara’s eyes widened as the aura Damien released grew colder and colder.“Why did you kill my grandfather?” Damien asked again, this time increasing the pressure on Daniel’s neck.“Kkkk…” Daniel gasped, s
