The dinner hall was quiet, everyone’s eyes on Beverly. She sighed, rubbing her head, then looked at Daniel.

“I’m disappointed you think that of me. Why would I want to have an outside relationship with my colleague when Damien is there? It’s unprofessional,” she said, while Daniel scoffed.
