As Cannon forcefully got his hand free from her hold, Elaine opened her eyes with a jerk uttering, "Cannon!"

For a moment she got confused why she was sitting on the floor and then the memory of last night hit her.

She turned to Cannon immediately and found him sitting on his bed and staring at her with a questioning look. With an intention to check his fever, she raised her hand to reach his forehead, "Are you okay now?"

Cannon immediately removed the comforter and got down from the bed pushing her hand away, "I am fine." and walked to the washroom.

When he got out, his room was all neat and arranged. Generally, Neil did this work after he left for the office.
