Dr. Rivera nodded.

"Yes. If we scan him, we might find out if his brain injury miraculously got better. Then these changes could be explained."

Suzie was silent. She stared at Javier's pale face. A lot of thoughts were running through her head.

After a long time, she turned to Dr. Rivera, "Doc, can you tell me why you are able to enter this place? I don't doubt you. However, I know that no stranger could enter the Albrecht villa unless Reyna approved of them. May I ask what is your relationship with the Albretchs?"

Suzie did not doubt Dr. Rivera's ability or background since it was Jonathan who introduced him to her. She believed that Jonathan was not stupid enough to look for a Doctor that would possibly harm Javier.

However, Dr. Rivera was too capable. Aside from becoming the best in his field at a young age, he was able to get in and out of the Albrecht villa freely.

If Javier indeed had a chance to wake up and it was known to the wrong people, Javier would be in danger. Reyn

"Husb-Javier, I will change your clothes now. Which one you would like? You can touch it and choose." Suzie almost made a mistake and call Javier 'husband'. Now that she knows Javier was conscious and aware of his surroundings, Suzie becomes mindful of her actions and words. She could not freely call him 'husband' like before. Since she doesn't have any idea if the man likes or hated to be called with such endearment, it was better to maintain proper distance and be polite. Javier who was only relying on sounds noticed Suzie's changes immediately. He wondered why Suzie changed her words midway. Doesn't she like to call him 'husband' often? Why she was stopping midway? She called him 'husband' so freely before that Javier got used to it. Although he likes the thought that Suzie called his name clearly, the 'husband' endearment was gone which made him feel a bit lost. Javier was curious as to why she hadn't called him 'husband' since that day. But he had no way to ask. When Suzie

Her phone rang interrupting Suzie in her thoughts. It was Jonathan. Suzie immediately answered it. "Eldest Young Madame." "Just Suzie is fine. Why do you only contact me now?" Jonathan apologized and explained his situation to Suzie. The last time they called, they weren't able to talk freely because of the urgent situation. Suzie told Jonathan to call her back at the end of the day or after Doctor Dylan returned. But Jonathan didn't call her and sent her a message instead. Jonathan was being careful since he was now working at the headquarters. He wanted to talk when there were no ears and eyes around. A week had almost passed since then, but he only called now. "Is the eldest master okay?" "Yes. He is fine now. Are you sure it is okay to talk now?" "Yes." "Dylan told me his story. I decided to trust him. We plan to sneak out Javier to check his condition. Your eldest master is constantly improving. Just a week ago..." Suzie told Jonathan the details. Jonathan gasped in

Arriving at the west hall, Betty's attitude changed again. "Eldest Young Madame, you still remember your promise to me, right?" Suzie raised her brow. Was she that desperate to make her niece a mistress? "...I remember it." Betty smiled. "Then I will count on you." Suzie: "....?" It was weird to suddenly say that when she was just about to meet Reyna. However, Suzie learned soon why Betty said those words to her. Because in the room, it was not only Reyna who was there. Kingsley was also sitting on the couch. Suzie: "..." Reyna had sold her so easily? Well, it had been two weeks. It was within her expectation but still, this disappointed Suzie. It seemed that Reyna was indecisive and loved her son too much. Suzie smiled and greeted them. "Mother-in-law is beautiful as always." She then turned to Kingsley, "Hello there, brother-in-law." Kingsley's face twitched. He expected the woman to be nervous and show awkwardness when she saw him. But she was smiling brightly as if th

A romantic song was played in a luxurious room. Philip held Reyna's waist as he lead her to dance."Why are you so good at this?" So there's no doubt that I will be good at dancing as well."Reyna laughed and flirtatiously slapped Philip's shoulder, "You are getting good at pickup lines, you smooth talker."Philip smirked, "I have to be good at it. Or else I won't see you smiling beautifully like this." Reyna shyly smiled. Her face burned up.She felt like she was a teenager being teased by her crush. She could not help but pout, "Hmph, you are just too good at this.""Haha." Philip chuckled, causing his chest to vibrate. Suzie smiled and kissed the twin's head. "Always remember that you two not only have us but you have each other. Keep looking out for each other like this as you two grow up, okay? Then Mommy will give you a lot of rewards." Hearing rewards, the two children's moods turned happy. "What rewards? Are we going to the ocean and dive with sharks?" "Are we going to fly in the air and meet Superman?" Suzie laughed. She really wished her children would never lose their innocence and their imagination towards the world. They could grow up strong and disciplined, but they should never lose their innocence toward life and their hope for the future. She would make sure of it. "Let me think about it." The two children talked about the rewards that were about to come while they held Suzie's hand. When Javier met them at the company's lobby, he could not help but smile at the scenery. The scenery of his wife and his two children laughing and smiling warmed up his heart. Life was full of ups a

"Everyone, I appreciate your presence here. The reason behind gathering you all and convening this meeting on such short notice is to announce that my wife will be visiting." Maintaining his composed demeanor, Javier continued, "Many of you had the opportunity to meet her at last year's opening ceremony. She expresses her regret that she couldn't personally greet each and every one of you on that occasion. My wife is a busy mother, her schedule is quite demanding. I kindly ask for your understanding in this regard." "Madame does not need to apologize." "Madame's kindness is truly remarkable. It's touching that she considers employees like us. We're genuinely grateful for her thoughtfulness." "There is no need to bother about us...." Those with a talent for flattery seized the opportunity to win favor. And their strategy proved effective. In the quiet embrace of dawn's gentle touch, the sea awoke from its slumber, its vast expanse stretching out as far as the eye could fathom. The horizon, adorned with hues of soft amethyst and pale rose, held a promise of the spectacle to come. A delicate, cool breeze carried the faint scent of salt and adventure, caressing the senses like a whispered secret. Suzie tiptoed out of the bedroom and washed her face downstairs. She then busied herself in the kitchen. It had been two weeks since the couple had stayed on the island, and there hadn't been a single day when Suzie woke up early to prepare breakfast. Partly because it was Javier's fault for keeping her up late, but whenever she did wake up, Javier had already cooked breakfast and cleaned the kitchen. Even the dishes were taken care of by Javier. There wasn't much else for Suzie to do but watch her handsome, gorgeous husband handle the chores. Suzie appreciated his efforts. However, she also wanted to showcase her cooking ski

"....so just look at me and don't be nervous." A voice sounded on the front, breaking the fight that was about to start. Ambassador Milliard and Uncle Surge had already arrived in front of the bride's waiting room. At the door, Javier was almost hugging the door as he spoke with a pitiful voice, "I really wanted to see you. I haven't seen you for three days. Mrs. Luo is too strict." "We will see each other in a few minutes. So go to the hall and wait for me. Let my makeup artists work in peace," Suzie's voice sounded from inside the room. "...Alright. I miss you so bad, wife." Ambassador Milliard: "...." Uncle Surge: "...." Fortunately, they were the only people here. If other guests happened to pass by, Javier's image would completely shift from that of a peerless young CEO to that of a lovestruck fool, simping for his wife.
