“I can’t believe three months have gone by” Clark says, smiling as he drives to my family home. I nod, “I can’t believe that we’ve been married for roughly four months. It definitely doesn’t feel that way” I say.

He chuckles, “that’s definitely because I’m the easiest person to live with” he says. “Of course you are” I reply with a subtle sarcastic tone.

“And what’s more exciting is that today is Lai’s wedding. You know my mom is completely over the moon. She finally has her two children married and well settled in their individual homes” I say.

“It was so shocking when he told me he proposed to her, after all they only dated for about two months” Clark says, his eyes fixed on the road as he speaks.

I smile, “we are definitely not in any capacity to judge them after all we didn’t even date before getting married. I didn’t know anything about your preferences and dislikes and you didn’t know mine” I say.
