Chapter 94 - Meeting You

Anastasia’s POV

I stood by cash desk as I waited patiently for the the cashier to check out the things I had bought. The twins have been in a better mood after seeing their dad last week, I should have let them meet him sooner.

“ Everything will be alright,” I patted my chest and let out a sigh.

“ Oh my goodness, aren't you Audrey's daughter, Anastasia?” A voice belonging to an older woman which reeked of Italian accent came from behind me. I turned behind to see who it was, it was Athena, my mom's old time friend.

“ Ms. Athena?” I called. I hadn't taken note of her surname so I was going to make do with what I knew about her to address her.

“ You actually do remember me, I thought you wouldn't since we only met once and you're a busy person,” she gestured as she approached me. I wasn't sure if I had noticed just how pretty she was even in her old age, I mean at first glance you wouldn't be able to tell that she's in her fifties.
