Chapter 2180

She looked at Fiona in dissatisfaction, then recomposed herself before replying to Daniel.

“Danny, it’s me. I left my phone on my desk and I came back to retrieve it. Do you need me for anything?”

When Daniel heard Ava’s voice, his mood instantly grew better.

“I’m coincidentally near your office so I wonder if you could come out for lunch?”

“Huh? You’re downstairs now?”

Ava walked to the French window as she said that. Then, she looked outside. Even though the building was tall, she could still spot the familiar car parked on the side of the road outside the entrance of the building.

A happy smile appeared on her face. “I’ll come down now. Please wait for a while.”

Then, Ava hung up the phone joyously and turned around to walk back out.

“Ava, Fiona just answered your phone for you. What attitude is this? You didn’t even thank her,” Kendra grumbled at Ava, feeling pissed.

Ava was in a good mood so she did not want to quibble with her. She smiled and said carefreely, “Thanks.”
