Grandma May smiled. “If it’s good, you should eat more and stay a few more days.”

“Grandma May, I’m busy with work. I came to see my master because he was here, but now that he’s gone, I have to go back to work.”

The old lady held her hand, “Let me call your home and see if you can stay in Wiltspoon for a few more days.”

Sugar was speechless for a moment. “Grandma May, I’ll come back to visit during the Christmas holidays. I really can’t stay any longer. I only came today because Camryn wore me down to come over and keep her company.”

It felt like Grandma May knew who she was. Sugar recalled her behavior and mannerisms at Wildridge Manor and was sure she had not revealed her true identity. Only her master
