Chapter 116. Fulfilling A Promise

The doctor and nurse in the room smiled at James and Nerry's behavior. They thought the two people were lovers.

“Can we go home? I'm afraid it will snow again." Nerry immediately changed the subject. She didn't want to get any more awkward.

"Well, okay." James stepped closer beside the bed. He prepared to hold Nerry again.

"I can do it myself, sir. I'll just walk, I can do it." Nerry refused. She just held on to James' arm, then tried to walk. She was limping and looked in pain.

James quickly approached, hugging from the right side. Left with no choice, Nerry accepted James' help.

"Doctor, Nurse, thank you." James looked back, smiling. Then focus again on helping Nerry get to the car.

Nerry glanced at the watch he was wearing. Almost half past nine in the evening. And she felt hungry. Her hand reflexively held her rumbling stomach. James glanced at Nerry and smiled. The girl's expression was so cute. Her face scrunched up as she bit her lip.

"Hm, I think I've made somebody’s daughter
