It was late at night, and Maisie was still editing her manuscript. Daniel had the hotel staff deliver some late-night snacks and then called her to join him for a meal.

Maisie sat down at the table and smiled gently. "Why are you still here?"

Lately, Daniel had been staying in this hotel suite most of the time. However, he didn't go into the bedroom. Instead, he slept on the couch in the living room, even though it couldn't be as comfortable as being at home.

Daniel smiled and pretended to sigh dramatically. "I don't have the privilege of sleeping in a bed, so I'll make do with the couch."

"My home?" he said with a smirk. "My home is wherever you are."

Maisie blushed, feeling a warm sense of happiness.
