I won't let go of you

"Are you hurt?" these words and the voice itself startled her back to reality. She glared at him, her eyes filled with questions she didn't have the answers to. She wanted to know, his words earlier, why they true? Did he actually mean it, when he said he liked her? Or did he just say it, to get rid of his brother? She didn't know? At first, she had believed his words, that he really liked her. But now, maybe he only said those words, to save her from his brother, it was so obvious.

With a weak sigh, Aviana glanced sideways before she said, "I'm fine." However, Ethan wasn't fooled at all. He could see that something was troubling her. He lifted his hand, and with his thumb and forefinger, he held her chin up and tilted it towards his face making her look at him.

"What are you thinking," he asked her, without averting his gaze from her.

"Nothing," she simply said before she removed his hand which was holding her chin and turned around to walk away heading to her chair. But, before sh
