The next morning, Jessie finally called her sister, knowing that she must be dieing to hear her voice, just as how she was feeling the same. On the second ring, a voice answered.
"Can I speak with Kimberly, please?''
"It is me, you dumb arse."
Jessie rolled her eyes, ''and here I thought that you would have missed me.''
"I do miss you, sissy. What took you so long? I was starting to think that the wolves had turned you into stew.''
"Nothing like that.''
Kimmy bombarded Jessie with questions.
"This is not twenty-one questions, Kimmy, but yes, I am doing just fine. Christian is such a gentleman and treats me so well.''
''So you are happy then?''
"Happier than I have ever been.''
Jessie paused, wishing that Kimmy could be here, experiencing all this with her.
''Kimmy, I wish you were here. I don't feel comfortable knowing that I'm here and you're with that man.''
"I'm doing just fine. I move
"There you are." Christian pulled Jessie into a kiss. MacKenzie made a gagging sound, "I'm going to my room, see you aunty, uncle." "Well, you two have become quite good friends." "If only I could win your mother and sisters over." "Don't be so hard on yourself, for now. Why don't you get dressed in something comfortable?" "What's on the agenda?" "You'll see." Jessie gave Christian a pointed look, then race upstairs to get dressed in a red and black sweat suit and matching trainers. "Ready," she announced. Christian looked her up and down, and she could see him hiding a smile as he admired her body. "See something you like?" "Yes, my mate. Are you ready?" "As I'll ever be." "Put this on." Christian produced a silky red blindfold. Jessie gave him a questioning look, but did as he said. She didn't know where Christian was taking her, but all she knew was that h
After a round of playful banters with Christian and with her belly full, Jessie called it a night and left him in the kitchen, with him promising to be with her soon. She took a quick shower. After that, she got dressed in something sexy, thinking she could impress or even seduce Christian. But I didn't last long. Jessie fell asleep maybe ten minutes after her head hit the pillow, where she instantly started dreaming. Jessie's dream took her into an unfamiliar house, leaving her to wonder how she was able to dream and feel so awake at the same time. "I see that you have finally answered to my calling." She turned in the direction of Jared's voice. "Where am I?" "In my space, it will be hard to explain, but the long and short of it is. I can create a space of my own, and invite who I want." "Why me?" "You are my mate, and the sooner you see the truth, the sooner you will see Christian for who he really is, you will
After getting ready for the day, a wave of nausea hit Jessie. She could also feel her stomach cramping up. She tried to do a mental check, but not knowing what day it was, she can't really put a date on it. Jessie hurried back to her bathroom and dug around in the draws, searching for pads. Until she found a cupboard with pads and tampons in all different sizes. She breathed a sigh of relief, then took another bath. Feeling grumpy, Jessie threw herself on the bed and curled into a ball as pain shoot through her back and down her legs. She groaned as her head pounded and the cramps increased. Christian came in to see his wife laying in a fetal position, and shivering from the pain. "Jessie, you look so pale." He said, placing a hand on her forehead. "I feel horrible." "What's wrong?" "My time of the month." As she said it, she bolted from the bed and ran for the bathroom, where she threw on th
"How are you feeling?" Christian asked, going to sit on the edge of the tub. Jessie used the foam to hide her breasts. He chuckled, "no need to be modest around me." Jessie made a face, ''I'm not being modest." "Then why hide your body from me?" She tried to ignore him as she enjoyed the water, 'this body is not yours' she wanted to say, but settle for smiling to herself. "Why are you smiling?" "Can you leave me alone?" Christian knits his brows together, "are you-" "I'm fine, can you just go?" All on Jessie's mind was Jared and hate for Christian because of how he rudely woke her up from her exquisite dream. "And you're still here." Jessie said, not looking at Christian because she didn't want to see the hurt in his eyes. Christian gave her one last look before slamming the bathroom door shut. Jessie breathed a sigh of relief and closed her eyes. The mi
Christian limped over to Jessie, running a bloody finger down her cheek. Jessie turned away from him. "My love?" Keera scoffed from beside her, "looks like neither of us will get what we want.'' "What is that supposed to mean?" Christian asked. Christian fought to keep his swollen eyes open as he looked at Jessie. "I think it's best if you leave." Jessie walked away from him. She could hear him bellowing her name and Keera laughing. "You do not know, do you? She was the one to give us a little aid in hand. Your precious mate gave you a potion so I could win that fight. Might have not been a fair fight, but who cares?" Jose laughed. Christian turned his bruised face to me, "tell me this isn't so." Jessie refused to look at him. The next thing she knew, he wrapped a hand with sharp claws around her neck, dangling her in the air. "You did what?" Christian growled. Jessie struggled to get out
After crying for what felt like days, Jessie finally mustered up the strength to go find Christian, but she had to do something first. She had to go back to that house and retrieve something. First, before she began her journey, she sew together a makeshift bag, then gathered all the things that she could find, having no idea how long it will take for her to get to the house or Christian, but she will be prepared. Jessie made sure to take the wolf's bane she had, before leaving the run-down house. Taking a random path, she walked on slippery ground until she came to a fork. Again, she took a random path. Not having the slightest idea on where to go, and with no food to eat. She now wished she hadn't done what she did. Jessie stumbled along until she came across a small boulder. Deciding to rest there for a while, to take some weight off her now blistered feet. Jessie wiped at her tears, telling herself that she need to be strong. She made her
As wolves chased after Jessie, she ran in a random direction. Not knowing where to go, she ran through the garden and was forced to stop at the electric fence. She turned to face the wolves as they snapped their teeth and licked their lips, ready to tear her apart. "Get back." She warned, holding a hand out. The wolves growled, coming closer to her. Jessie placed her box on the ground, ready to fight. Even though she knew she would not win, she wouldn't go down without a fight. When the first wolf attacked, Jessie didn't know where she got the strength from, but she used the back of her hand to hit the wolf away. It went sailing in the air until it hit a tree with a crack. The others attacked at once. One pounced on Jessie, causing them to fall to the ground. She placed her hands up to block its onslaught. Only to cause it to bite into her hand, she cried out, then realised that she was feeling no pain. Jessie kicked the wolf off to ex
Jessie made her way out of Martha's house and into the night dew; she took a deep breath, taking in the earthly smell, before running off in the lake's direction. She didn't make it far before a small pack of about twelve wolves got to her, she manoeuvred around them, snapping necks and breaking arms as she went. Jessie volted over one of the wolves, while grabbing his arm and ripping it clean out of the socket. He yelped in pain, but still curses at her, "you'll pay for this bitch." "No, you'll pay." She punched him in the face, causing him to crumple to the floor. Another wolf hit Jessie in the back of the head with a club. She glanced at him over her shoulder. He dropped his weapon and held his hands up. "I thought you are human." "You thought wrong." Jessie took off running as she heard more wolves coming. She pushed her way through a line of five wolves, then climbed a tree. Using it as a way of distraction, sh

While Jaden is sleeping in the other room, Jessie laid on Christian's chest, enjoying the warmth radiating off him. He ran circles on her lower back as he spoke. "I hope it's a boy this time, because it feels as if you and Jaden are always teaming up on me." "It's because you didn't know what we were up to." "I should have known. I see the way you have been drinking from me lately, and being a bit mood." Jessie rolled her eyes, "it's not so bad, with Jaden it was worst." Christian kissed her lips. "You are the best woman in this world. I love you more than life itself." Jessie sat up to kiss Christian, "and I love you so much." Christian rolled over so that he was now on top of her. "Not too much pressure." She pointed at her stomach. "Don't worry, I won't hurt my little prince." Christian raised her legs to settle between them, then rested his head on her chest. "I wonder what new advent
Jessie laid on her back staring at Christian, with Jaden in-between them. Both of them were fast asleep, tired from sightseeing all day. Jaden smiled in her sleep, maybe from memory of the day or a pleasant dream. Jessie ran a thumb over her cheek, wishing that this moment could last forever, and that no more threats will come their way for a long time. It felt as if a tremendous burden has been lifted off her shoulders, as if all the things in the world have finally aligned and made sense. Jessie leant closer to Christian to kiss his lips, his eyes opened, and he smiled at her. "Are you watching us sleep?" "I have no shame in doing it." Christian kissed her forehead. "I don't mind, I mean. I am sexy, so get your eyes full." Jessie rolled her eyes, "you are so conceited." "No, I'm confident." Jaden sat up in the bed all of a sudden, threw herself on Jessie's chest, then went back to sleep.
It has now been a month since Jaden-Jamie-Lee's birth, and she already looked as if she was ten months old. Crawling all over the place and stealing hearts. "Whose a pretty baby?" Jessie tickled her stomach, then kissed the soles of her feet. Jaden laughed uncontrollably and squirmed to get away from her mother. "I love you so much.'' Jaden-Jamie-Lee laughed up at Jessie as if she understood what was said. "How are my to favourite girls?" Christian asked, entering into the room. "Better than ever." Jessie smiled, leaning into him and receiving a kiss on the forehead. Christian gently pinched Jaden's cheeks, she smiled and held onto his finger "You are getting so big." Christian picked her up, then threw her in the air. "Hey now, I know she has powers and all, but can you not do that?" Jessie would worry every time she saw someone throwing her in the air. Despite her seeming to enjoy it, Jessie, on the ot
When Camille finally recovered, she slowly got off the ground with such rage in her eyes that Jessie feared she might start shooting lasers. Her words slurred as she tried to speak, while she swayed and stumbled after taking a step. Out of anger, she charged at Jessie instead of using her powers. Christian grabbed her by the neck, then slammed her down on the ground. Camille placed a hand around his, did a spell that caused his hand to turn black. Christian roared out, letting her go. "You are too emotional." Britannia yelled, sending a blast at Camille. Christian picked up his spear and sent a jolt of lightning at them. Camille screeched out, flying for the window, but it was as if invisible hands stopped her. She gave Christian a murderous look, then held out her right hand. "Mantua." She said, an annoyed look crossed her face when nothing happened. "Mantua." She said again, still nothing happened.
Britannia conjured up daggers to throw at Jessie, who used her sword to deflect them. Britannia chanted a spell, but whatever she said had no effect on her. "Tricks are for kids." Jessie shot out more fire at her, which burnt her right arm. "You will see why a witch is not to be messed with vampire." She sneered, moving her hands and fingers around until blur energy crackled from them, then held her hand out towards Jessie. Suddenly, it felt as if hands were holding her down, clawing at her skin and pulling at her hair. Jessie tried to break free from the invisible hands, but the more she struggled, the more they clawed and tighter their grip got. "The spirit of all the witches that have died in this house, they despise vampires and now wolves." Britannia threw a distasteful look Christian's way. Jessie tried to call out to her husband, but the hand covered her mouth. All she could do now was watch as Christian sailed into the wall, th
When the four stepped through the door, four young witches and a man holding a shotgun greeted them. ''Welcome.'' The gun slinging man said. Causing one girl with dark curly hair to roll her eyes. "Oh look, dumb and dumber, have teamed up with tweedle dee and tweedle dum, for their deaths." Jasmin smiled. "More like doom patrol, because they are doomed for coming here." A tall skinny dark skin female laughed. Again the curly hair girl rolled her eyes. "How long did it take for you to come up with that? Now move, we have no fight with you. It is Britannia and her daughter we want." Jessie said, waving her hand to shoo the away.
"Jessie, I know they upset you. But I don't think just charging in a house full of witches is the best idea." Anna-Beth said. Jessie ignored her words while putting her hair up. "Why isn't anyone trying to stop her?" She turned to everyone for support. "Because Anna-Beth, that bi*ch almost killed my baby. What do you want me to do, just sit around and wait for another attack? One of our best nanny’s was placed under a spell. It has been three days now, and she is still sleeping." Anna-Beth opened her mouth, but Jessie held up a hand to stop her. "If it was MacKenzie, would you just sit and wait?" Jessie asked. "Christian is coming with me. We have already dwelt with one enemy. W
While Jessie and Christian were out, Camille disguised herself as a nanny. "I'm here to relief you." Camille said, swinging her hips as she entered Jaden-Jamie-Lee's room. The nanny looked her up and down. "I have another hour left." Camille rolled her eyes, then blew dust in her face. The nanny fell forward. Camille moved out of the way, looking down at her. "Oh dear, anyway. Where is that little abomination?" Camille walked over to the crib to see the baby staring up at her. "Hmm, you actually look beautiful." Camille leant her head to the side, rubbing a finger over the baby's cheek. ''So precious, so disgusting." Camille then gave her a pinch. "Oh, did that hurt?" She laughed when Jaden-Jamie-Lee started to fuss, then picked her up. "There, there. Let me tell you a story." Camille shook her violently from side to side. She almost dropped Jaden-Jamie-Lee when volts of electricity rocked her body. But instead,
