GLENDA'S POV

I stretched and yawned with contentment when I woke up. I was well rested and relaxed. I had slept better than I had ever done in a very long time. I went to bed happy last night. Very happy.

I smiled to myself as I recalled the events of the previous night. Last night, Brian had held me. He apologized and he comforted me. We spent a good amount of time talking. Talking and trying to sort things out. He told me he was going to tell Maurice about us and the baby. I snuggled myself smiling sheepishly at the thought.

He was going to take responsibility. He was going to stand by me and our baby. He regretted letting his anger get the better side of him. I expressed my hurt over his cheating and he apologized. He said it was a mistake, a slip that would never repeat itself. He was so sincere and I believed him.
