CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: HIS DOOM IS NEAR

SAVANNAH

"Mummy, someone is at the door!" I heard my daughter call out to me while I was arranging the dishes in their right places.

"Who could it be?" I asked myself, and it better not be Levi again because, after the stunt he pulled last night, he was the last person I wanted to wake up and see this morning.

"Do you know who is there?" I asked Sarah when I walked into the living room and she nodded in refusal. I smiled at her and hurried to the door before opening it.

"Good morning, ma'am." Although I didn't know the person at the door, I was glad that it wasn't Levi because I wouldn't hesitate to slam the door in his face once again.

"Good morning, how may I help you?" I stared at the young man who was carrying a package and a basket of roses in his hands.

"I am a delivery man, are you Miss Savannah?" He asked and I nodded, although it was strange since I didn't order anything. And I'm not sure Sarah did or she would have told me about it.

"I am Savannah but I didn't place an order
