It is said that the average grade for their students was A+ and she barely gets a B in her old school. Just how smart are those students there? Does this mean she needs to damn study harder than she already did? Grading kills students like her.
Hayley got off her bed and head outside. In their living room, she sees Kenji scrolling through his phone fast. She scrunched up her face, wondering how he can read what's on his news feed if he scrolls so fast like that.
Slowly, she made her way to sit on the opposite chair as him. Then she took the remote from the center table, turning on the television, and pretend she's watching. But every now and then, she would glimpse at him, finding the opportunity to ask the question in her head.
