88. I am Pregnant

Stella slowly removed Marvin’s hand from around her waist, then got out of bed. She opened the bedside drawer, took something out, and headed to the bathroom.

Once inside the bathroom, Stella opened the pregnancy test kit and used it immediately. She hadn’t had her period for almost a month, and she suspected she might be pregnant, so she decided to check with the test kit.

A few minutes later.

Stella covered her mouth in surprise when she saw the result of the test. "I’m... pregnant?" Stella murmured, jumping up and down with joy, accidentally knocking over a bottle on the sink.

She quickly picked up the bottle and put it back on the sink. Then she looked again at the pregnancy test she was holding. "But is this valid? What if it’s not? Should I check with a doctor first? If I’m really pregnant, then I’ll tell Marvin. I don’t want to disappoint him if this is not accurate."
