Chapter twenty three

Bella tried Daniel's cell phone number for the umpteenth time before going to work but he wasn't answering and she decided to call again. What does she care anyway, it's not something new anyway, he's always been that way. Taking the subway, she headed for work.

The atmosphere at her workplace is different today, most of the workers were staring at her but trying to be discreet about it.
