I shouldn't have called her, I told myself over and over again but then a voice inside of me asked me if it was far much better to leave my wife worrying about my whereabouts for the rest of the night definitely not but at the same time I don't think that I eased her mind by just vaguely dropping that I was in the hospital and ending the call there.
