ACEIA’S POV
I already met Hudson's parents, and they seemed kind. But Hudson's father looks strict and serious as hell. Maybe it's like that when you are a business tycoon and an influential and powerful... Oh no, no! Hudson is also a business owner, but he doesn't seem strict. He actually seemed lunatic, for Christ's sake! One of the things I didn't like about that man. His type is more the mysterious type... A good boy is one who is easy to obey. After our argument two days ago, Hudson seems to have changed; he acted like we were on good terms, like we hadn't shouted at each other. "Stop staring at me, woman," Hudson said, who's sitting across the table. "I'm not, Mr. Butler," Hudson chuckled, and it sounded cool in my ears. His laughter is pleasant to the ears. We are currently on the patio, sitting on the patio chair. When my parents are in front of him, he looks respectable. He was the kind that any parent would fall in love with and want him to be a son-in-law. I knew Hudson's didn't love me. I know that he was forced to marry me, and so do I. This marriage was just an agreement from which both our families benefited. That reason is already given, but I could still feel that he has another agenda for why he agreed to this. And I need to show my parents what this man really is. I took the cell phone that was on the table, turned on the recorder, and stood up. I smiled sweetly at Hudson. I placed a finger tip on the glass table and slowly stepped closer to Hudson as one finger stroked the table. "What is the real reason why you are marrying me?" I sat on his lap and caressed Hudson's cheek. I slightly parted my lips and brought them closer to his mouth. Only given a small space. I placed the hand holding the cell phone on his shoulder. "What is your real reason why you would like to marry me? Or do you want to take revenge on me because you were one of the men I dumped before?" I asked in a whisper. "I only have one true reason why I chose to take the plunge and tie the knot. Because I found the one. And that is you. I love you, Aceia." I was paralyzed and turned my face away from him. Hudson looked seriously into my eyes. "From the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew that you were meant to be mine forever. I love you very much, Aceia, and I will do everything for you." My forehead crease deepened at what Hudson said. "I'm ready to swim the sea, climb the mountain, and grab the star for you. That's how much I love you, my love." What is this man talking about? Hudson grabbed the cell phone from my hand and looked at it. He grinned and ended the recording. "I'm sure your recording was pretty good; your parents will like me even more." My lips parted in shock. He knows what I intend to do. Damn! I thought it was true. I grabbed the cell phone from his hand and slapped it on the side of his forehead. "Ouch!" Hudson rubbed his forehead. I know it hurt because of the loud sound. "You're annoying!" My attempt to stand was stopped when Hudson stopped me. "You're really a brat, you woman. The idea of living with you on the same roof excites me because I'm going to cut off your horn." "Good luck! I will make you taste hell. Because I will make sure I become a demon when we live on the same roof." I patted Hudson's cheek. "Stay strong, future hubby." I stood up and walked away. Hudson whistled, and why did I feel that he was starting at my ass? "I'll make you taste heaven every day, my love." I raised my right hand and gave him a phallic gesture by showing him my middle finger without looking at him. A loud laugh echoed throughout the patio. (WEEDING DAY)I looked at my mother and father sitting at the front of the rows of chairs and showed the saddest look I could, thinking that maybe they would take pity on me and stop this nonsense, but they just smiled at me. Judgment day! This is what I could call our wedding day. I didn't really do anything else. A garden wedding was held in the garden of our mansion. And it was Hudson's grandfather, Judge Helerio Vasco, who officiated our marriage. I was wearing a very simple yet classy white wedding dress, and Hudson, clad in a dove gray tuxedo, looked extraordinarily handsome. His hair had been recently cut and trimmed to perfection, along with his trimmed beard. Only their close relatives were present. I was the one who liked this. Yes, this wedding was meant to clean my name, but as much as I want, I don't want any other people in my wedding who are not related to us. Judge Helerio's words did not register in my brain. I was thinking about how to get out of here. I hope a knight comes and runs me away. But it seems that there is really no hope. "Stop thinking about escaping because that is very impossible, my love," Hudson said in a low voice. "My love! That's so gross!" "Do you, Hudson Blake Basco, take Aceia Louise Christenson to be your partner for life? Do you promise to walk by her side forever and to love, help, and encourage her in all she does? Do you promise to take time to talk with her, to listen to her, and to care for her? Will you share her laughter and her tears as her partner, lover, and best friend? Do you take her as your lawfully wedded wife for now and forevermore?" "Yes, I do," Hudson responded as quick as a wink. "Oh, hell!" My reaction generated laughter from the guests. Especially Hudson's two friends, who dominated the laughter. They are sitting on the right side. My cousin Clent, who I thought had died, was also there. Everyone laughed, except Clent. His wife left him. I asked my cousin for help, but to no avail. "You made a mess, so you should just get married." That was the answer from my cousin. "Do you, Aceia Louise Christenson, take Hudson Blake Vasco to be your partner for life? Do you promise to walk by his side forever and to love, help, and encourage him in all he does? Do you promise to take time to talk with him, to listen to him, and to care for him? Will you share his laughter and his tears as his partner, lover, and best friend? Do you take him as your lawfully wedded husband for now and forevermore?" Hudson squeezed my waist as if to warn me. "Would you really consider my answer? Because my answer will be no." Hudson's friends laughed again. "Fuck it! This is ridiculous!" Knoxx chuckled as he laughed. "After Clent forced Hann into marriage, now it's Hudson's turn. Who's next?" Clark laughed. "I'll never fucking do that for fuck's sake," Knoxx said while still laughing. "Shut your fucking mouth!" Hudson growled at his two friends. Judge Helerio did not repeat the question. "Okay, and now, seal your promises with these rings, the symbol of your life shared together. Aceia, please repeat after me." I grabbed the ring from the table and lipped it on my finger. "Put it already, so it will be over." His face split into a shit-eating grin. "She can't wait for the honeymoon. My wife is in too much of a hurry." Everyone laughed. I rolled my eyes at him. Hudson just took the ring and put it on. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride," Judge Helerio said while shaking his head because of what Hudson said. Hudson faced her with a goofy grin plastered on his face. And I swear to hell, I wanted to knock the annoying grin off his face. I didn't complain when Hudson cupped my face; I smiled at him sweetly instead. "Oh, your smile is creepy. What's on your mind?" "If you want to kiss me, do it now, and if not then, fuck off!" Hudson let out a heavy sigh before lowering his head to mine. But he didn't kiss her. "Fuck it! Why am I afraid to press my lips on you?" he murmured. "Just kiss me." I wanted to laugh when Hudson put his mouth on my lips. I felt his hesitation. I raised my arms to curl around his neck and kissed him deeply, causing him to groan. I put my tongue in Hudson's mouth and played with his tongue. Hudson's solid arms wrapped around my waist. We are literally making out in front of the guests. When Hudson was about to suck my tongue, I immediately pulled it back. Hudson chased my tongue with his until his tongue entered my mouth. Gotcha! I swirled my tongue around Hudson's tongue before biting it hard. Hudson growled, and his hand tightened around my waist. "Damn! Why did you bite my tongue?!" Hudson said while his mouth was closed. "Sorry, my bad! I can't just keep myself from biting you," I giggled. Everyone laughed again. My mother approached us. "Ace, you're too much!" My mom scolded me. "Son, just bear with your wife; sometimes she becomes a brat." "It's okay, mom. I will punish her later." Hudson smirked at me.ACEIA'S POVAfter the wedding, Hudson took me into his house. After I showered, I slowly opened the bathroom door of Hudson's room and peeked in.Hudson Blake Vasco, who is now my husband, was sitting on the bed as his back was leaning against the backboard of the bed.Wearing a reading glass while the laptop is on top of his stomach. He shows off his incredible physique by wearing nothing but a pair of Emporio Armani briefs in the black-and-white image.OK! I admit that I am the luckiest woman because the man that women are obsessed with is now my husband. What will the women who are attracted to him say when they find out that I now own the hottest home d’affaires in New York?Hudson looked up at me and smiled."What are you doing there? Come here!" Hudson tapped the space next to him. I don't have a choice but to walk towards the bed."You're not planning to do anything silly, are you?" He said."You're judging me so fast!" I rolled my eyes at him. Alford laughed."It seems like whe
HUDSON'S POVWhen I awoke and beheld my wife's enchanting visage, an involuntary, beaming smile illuminated my face. What a splendid morning! She resembled a serene pagan goddess in the midst of her beauty. Her lips, not as ample as the coveted Angelina Jolie's, possessed a distinct allure with a full lower lip and a slender upper lip, radiating a sensuous and attractive charm reminiscent of moist pomegranate seeds. Her nose boasted a duchess-like elegance, a highly sought-after feature among celebrities. Yet, my wife's was naturally flawless, a divine endowment. Her eyes, slanting gracefully like a cat's, were further accentuated by long eyelashes and impeccably shaped eyebrows that consistently arched when directed my way. I found her allure heightened when she gracefully raised an eyebrow in my direction.I planted a sweet kiss on my wife's lips. What can they do now? Can I invite her to go grocery shopping? Aceia’smommy said I should teach Aceia even simple house chores. Her mom sa
ACEIA'S POV"I struggle to grasp your perspective, Ace. Opting to forge your own path in building a business instead of inheriting your parents' company adds an extra layer of complexity, especially considering your known short temper. Beatrice, in particular, appears to cast a shadow over your aspirations, showing a lack of support for your decision. As Beatrice and I sit on the porch, savoring beef nachos, "You have a husbandI'll just remind you of. Stop your obsession with Aidan already. I know your plan for Aceia. You are building your own business because Aidan is an engineer. And you're planning to hire him to build your boutique, right? So that you both see each other without your parents and Hudson suspecting.""Beatrice, I already had this plan before Hudson and I got married. I've already invested in the land, and it would be a missed opportunity not to bring my vision to life."Truth be told, my passion lies more in designing dresses than in business. Aidan's return to New Y
ACEIA’S POV"Pull up the car over there." Hudson halted the car on the side of the road, not heading straight to the gate of the land where Aidan was.It was the construction site for my emporium, and yes, Aidan was the engineer. That's why I didn't want Hudson to enter the site."Why here?""I don't want anyone to see us together. No one should know we're married. We're going to break up anyway."His brow shot up. "Who said we'd get divorced? That will happen when pigs fly.""Alright, bye. Thanks for driving me, Mr. Vasco." I tried to pull the door handle, but it was locked, so I looked back at Hudson."Unlock the door." Hudson placed his index finger over his lips."The heck? We're not a real couple."Hudson just looked at me, not moving, so I sighed. "Okay, fine!" I leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. What should have been just a dampening kiss turned into a torrid one as Hudson cupped the back of my head and deepened the kiss."Stop, Mr. Vasco; this is not the right spot for
ACEIA'S POVHudson didn't personally pick me up from the site earlier; instead, he arranged for someone to fetch me. The man who arrived explained that he was Hudson's on-call driver, ready to drive only when necessary, despite being compensated for the entire month. When Hudson finally returned home late, I was already lying down, feigning sleep. As he entered the room, I kept my eyes closed until he settled beside me. The subtle scent of alcohol lingered in the air, revealing his night's activities.I had suspected he went to the bar, having exchanged texts with my cousin Clent earlier, who mentioned being at the bar with Hudson. The thought of him potentially being entangled with another woman sparked intense annoyance, causing my chest to tighten.Hudson, lifting the comforter, nestled into my body with my back against his, and I could sense he was unclothed. Wrapping an arm around me, he remarked, "You're fully clothed," expressing surprise as he noticed my sweatshirt and silk sho
ACEIA'S POVStress had been too much for either Hudson or me, and we decided right away that we needed a vacation. This vacation not only looked like a great way to unwind, but it also gave me a priceless chance to reflect. The following morning, as the dawn broke through the curtains, I grabbed for Hudson and found nothing but empty space next to me. Relentlessly, I got out of bed and faced the new day's routine. The sound of the shower invited, and I quickly got ready to wash away the last bits of worry that were clinging to my exhausted body. With all that steam around me in the shower, my thoughts started to stray. I could still feel the first thrill of our scheduled actions flashing across my mind. But then a twinge of disappointment struck when Hudson's sudden disappearance to take a call came back to mind. The unpredictability of everyday life was interfering with the anticipation of what was intended to happen. After coming out of the bathroom, I immediately got dressed. I wore
ACEIA'S POVOne of Alford's hands reached down and slipped it into his shorts. Alford let out a deep groan when he felt her wet womanhood."I'll take you here.""W-what?""Oh!" I bit down on my lower lip when his finger zeroed in on my clitoral area, sending an electric current through my body."Hudson, someone might see us here.""No one can enter. I lock the door,” Hudson said, whispering to my ears that it adds heat to my body.Oh, God! Yes! But I felt nervous that someone might see it. The feel of his finger as he rubbed my nub made my body feel like it was on fire. I could feel his hardness against my buttock, and I ached for his c--ck. His touch felt like torture."Word, wifey.""Aah! Yes!" I gasped as he pushed his digit inside of my slick core."Yes, what?" Hudson asked as he kissed the nape of my neck and slowly slid his finger in and out of my womanhood.I reached for his d--ck behind her and palmed it through his boxer short."Oh!" He breathed out, sinking his teeth against
ACEIA'S POV"Let me capture a picture of you, so now give me a pose," I said with a menacing smile. As his initial smile faded and he promptly shook his head, a subtle understanding passed between us—I could sense that taking pictures wasn't his forte. He seemed to embody a certain humility, a reluctance to bask in the limelight of vanity. Even on his phone, images showcasing his face were a rarity, outnumbered by the abundance of pure landscapes and scenery."Oh, why resist, Hudson? My camera loves capturing the elusive side of you," I playfully teased, trying to coax him into the impromptu photoshoot."I'm fine with no pictures, Ace. Let's just enjoy the scenery now that we're done taking your pictures."Despite his protest, I couldn't resist the allure of freezing moments in time. As he spoke, I continued to click away on my cell phone, each snapshot capturing a fraction of the essence that made him uniquely Hudson. He attempted to stop me, futilely covering the camera, but I manage
HUDSON'S POVIt began when my parents decided I should attend a math camp, assuring me it would be a joyful experience while they were away. Little did they know that it would become the catalyst for a traumatic event, pushing my life to the edge of death. As Sunday afternoon descended, we meticulously packed our belongings, getting ready to head home. The facilitator signaled the end, prompting us to board the bus. The journey commenced serenely, and I immersed myself in a book, oblivious to the impending disruption.Suddenly, the bus screeched to a halt, shattering the tranquility. My eyes darted outside, revealing an eerie silence only disturbed by the entrance of an armed stranger.Chaos erupted as the man discharged his weapon, sending children into fits of panic. Fear gripped me too, yet I chose to remain silent.Soon, we found ourselves at the mercy of these assailants. Tears flowed from frightened children yearning to return home. Amid the gunfire, a rescue mission unfolded, c
ACEIA'S POVWith all that had happened, I felt like I needed to find closure because of the overwhelming weight that was on my shoulders. I understood that knowing the truth was essential if I was going to embrace a happy future. After receiving confirmation that my daughter was safe, I set off to visit my parents. There were secrets hanging in the air, and it was time to face the ghosts of the past. As I walked up to the door, the air crackled with expectation, and I felt a mixture of resolution and nervousness in my veins. As I sat across from my father, a guy with many life experiences and unspoken stories, I forced myself to go deeper into our family's past. It was as though the walls were listening closely to everything I said, and the weight of unspoken truths echoed throughout the room. For an instant, my father wavered, a trace of regret visible in his eyes. Subsequently, he started to reveal a story of love and sorrow in a voice that carried the weight of decades. He added, "M
ACEIA'S POVHudson and I ran across the sterile hallway, our footsteps hitting the chilly hospital walls like cries for help. The fluorescent lights pulsed harshly overhead, creating eerie shadows that reflected the turmoil in our hearts. Seated on the emergency bed, our daughter was a delicate figure among the difficult chaos of life-threatening medical situations. My vision became blurry as we approached the surgical room. Hudson, who was equally upset, desperately tried to hold onto our hand to help steady ourselves in the emotional storm. The sobs of a pained mother resonated with the far-off wails of sirens outside. The door to the operating room flew open, showing a surgeon whose face reflected the seriousness of the situation. As I talked, my voice quivered, and the words came out of my mouth like thin whispers in the storm. My eyes gleamed with worry as I asked, "Is she... is she going to be okay?" but the surgeon's grave expression offered no instant comfort. The surgeon gave
ACEIA'S POVWhen the man finally tore my top off, I forced myself to get away from him, even though it was difficult to do. I scooted away, trying to get away, but my legs were yanked back with force.Tears were flowing down my cheeks as I looked at Alison, who was still crying. "No, please. Don't do this," I begged.Marthina spoke, casually playing with the gun in her hand while still sitting in front of me, interrupting the terrifying image. "You know, when I was young..."Captivated by her words, I turned to face her. She related the heartbreaking story of how my father abandoned them when she was a young girl, leaving her mother hopeless. She stated, "I never had a happy childhood because your father took that away from me. When he left, my mother fell into madness, unable to care for me. I had to work to survive," before suddenly pressing the trigger, deafening Alison with her cry.I tried again, desperate to get out of the man's grasp, but I was quite conscious that all that was
ACEIA'S POVMy head was hammering when I woke up, like a relentless hammer, causing unbearable pain. The agony in my brain was getting closer to breaking, so I tried to get up and looked around as it did.Alison and I ended up sitting on the ground, tied, and surrounded by rusting, run-down cars in an abandoned car factory.I had no idea where we were.I had flashbacks to Alison, and I went for ice cream, but they were cut short as Marthina barged in holding a gun. After being made to sign a document and given a numbing agent, our bodies passed out. As we awoke, the terrible truth of our imprisonment became apparent. There was one thing we knew for sure: Marthina had planned our kidnapping. Her intentions were still unclear, but she acted with malice in her eyes.Turning to the sound of Alison’s soft sobs, I took a deep breath to compose myself, resisting the urge to succumb to fear. The uncertainty of impending help gnawed at me. All I could hope for was that Hudson was actively searc
ACEIA'S POVIt had been a full week since the intenseencounter with Marthina. I didn't talk to my father after that. I purposefully chose to keep this distance because I needed time to gather my thoughts and reflect before bringing up the hard topic. Even though I really should be talking to my dad and making sure Marthina and Alexander are telling the truth, I take comfort in these quiet times, letting my ideas settle before facing the storm that is coming. This self-imposed break from face-to-face interaction is making my internal turmoil even more confusing. My logical mind begs me to speak with my father immediately in order to get clarification and closure. It is full of longing for pure clarity, wanting to remove any doubt from Marthina's charges and Alexander's remarks. However, the soft murmurs of my heart beg me to take my time, to temper the urgency with a measured resolution, so that feelings don't overshadow any revelations that may come to light. There is a constant feeli
ACEIA'S POVMy mind was jumbled with doubts as I looked at the man in front of us. His manner was sincere, yet there was a persistent suspicion that persisted in the back of my mind. Was he trustworthy? Are we to believe all he said? My eyes studied his facial expressions, searching for any hints while she considered these questions.I questioned whether there was a process for figuring out what defines authenticity or a guide that explained how to deal with the complexities of trust. As the silence lingered between them, I thought about the importance of every word that was said. Was there a clue in his eyes—a slight change in the way he held himself—that would expose the truth? As I kept talking to myself, I fought with the problem of making choices based solely on beliefs. What actions should I take to make sure I'm not misled if I decide to trust? I felt the weight of the situation pressing down on me, forcing me to choose between being sincere and lying. I realized that the way fo
ACEIA'S POV I woke up to a fairly normal workday with very little on my schedule. Driven by the need to give priority to the things that really mattered, I made an unusual decision. Choosing to stay at home, I made the most of my unexpected free day by spending it with my kid. As we explored the simple pleasures of reading aloud, making cookies, and playing games,Following our different adventures, Alison fell into sleepiness and went to bed. Driven, it seemed, by an ongoing restlessness, I sat in the soft light of my laptop, expecting to lose myself in the routine work of checking files.A distant memory emerged as the room filled with the quiet hum of the laptop: a USB card placed in my bags. After getting it back, I started looking for files in its small memory. But somewhere among the things in my bag, I found a strange calling card—something to remember from the mysterious stranger who had passed me by the day before. The card was silently inviting me to inquire as it settled in
ACEIA'S POVI used to have so much wonderful family time, but the burden of running the family business left me exhausted, and my daughter Alison would sulk even on the weekends. I was determined to stop this cycle, so I made the decision to finish work early today and give my scheduled time for bonding with her and Hudson top priority.“Ma’am, you have a board meeting in 30 minutes, followed by a lunch meeting with Mr. Perales. I've arranged a restaurant reservation for that,” my secretary informed me, her voice cutting through the endless stack of reports I was sifting through."Okay, just let me know when it's time for lunch," I replied, my focus still immersed in the sea of paperwork that demanded my attention. While I was signing documents, my secretary gently reminded me that the board members were still waiting. He nodded, and I got up, gathered up my coat, and made my way to the boardroom, wondering aloud if Marthina, who had always been concerned about the company, would be am
