The constant knock on the door jolted me awake; I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and turned to look at the other side of the bed, but Lucas was not there. I took my phone from the lamp table behind me, and it was only 6 a.m.; who would be knocking on my door at this time?

I got out of bed and went to the door. I peered through the small see-through at the front of the door, but there was no one there. I slowly pulled the door open, and it was one of the maids, she was standing at the door panting like she had just run a race. I was about to ask her what happened when my gaze wandered to the boxes on the floor.

Tina, what is this? I asked her as I opened the door further and stepped out.

"Ma'am, it was said to be sent to Mr. Harrison, and it was just delivered about twenty minutes ago."

"Mr. Harrison?" It is fine, you can go, I told her, and she left.
