Chapter 31

Arpita knew something was bothering Aditya when she went to dinner with him the next day. He came to pick her up after his office hours and during dinner when she asked who all of his friends he was inviting to their wedding, he skipped Rashi's name. When she teased him about it, he snapped at her.

Moments later realising that he was so wrong, he parked the car on the deserted side road just a few turns away from her house and apologized for his earlier behaviour.

Adi : I am sorry for snapping at you earlier during dinner.

Arpita : Rather than apologizing perhaps you can now tell me what's got you so worked up!!

Adi sighed and gripped the steering wheel tight : I fired Rashi yesterday........
