Leonardo's POV.

Zavi's face was pale as she stared at Martha. Martha clutched my hand making me look at her. She was staring at Zavi, her face scrunched in confusion and pain.

I squeased her hand reassuringly and smiled. Gently I pulled her inside the apartment and made her sit on a couch.

Zavi fell on her knees in front of Martha tears rolling down her cheeks. "Mumma!" she gave out a heart wrenching sob before looking at me. "Where did you find her? We thought-" she shivered slightly at some memory perhaps.

I looked at her, not sure what to say. I bent down slightly and touched Zavi's shoulder. She turned hear tear strained face towards me "Zavi- are you sure? I think there is some mistake."

I said glaring at him and he shrugged."The ones that surround us, well most of them are no more than flies trying to stick to sweet- money." His lips twisted before he continued "You are different. You have to be or my friend wold not have bothered about you.""Do you know him since long?" I asked wanting to change the topic."Our families are friends. Leo is older than me by a few years and we only got really close few years back after I started working on my business."

Saira's POV. My mother is alive! She is here sitting right in front of my eyes. It still does not feel real. I don't know how this happened and at this point I don't really care. Her being back in our lives is nothing but a miracle. We were sitting in my living room. My instinct is to rush to my mother and get lost in her hug. Knowing I cannot do that does not really help me in controlling my emotions in any way. She may not remember now but when she had just entered the apartment she did seem to recall some bits of her past. She remembered my scars. I try not to panic once again at the memory of the cause of the scars. It is evident she gets some flashes of her old life once in a while. Leonardo says she does not remember and so I should not try to alarm her. I don't really agree. I don't agree with him at all and would have done what I wanted to , had I not seen how alarmed my my moth

My breath trapped in my chest as he stepped close to me.I had to tilt my head up slightly to continue to look at his face."I don't need luxurious Zavi if I can have this." His voice was soft as he gestured with his hand towards our surrounding- which is my home!Is he mocking me? No, he does not seem to be. He must have seen the confusion on my face because he continued to explain "This –warmth, an obvious sense of lived in and loved feel."He took another step towards me, my shoulder almost touching his chest."I know today I was not welcome." His lip twisted slightly in a crooked smile "But one day I hope you will open your door to welcome me."I did not know how to respond to his words. His close proximity was nit helping me to think straight either. His large frame and the absolutely manly s

She said her tone pacifying. She may not be judging but she definitely believed it!I have never bothered- or as my mother puts it often- given two hoots about what anyone thinks about me.She had warned me my 'I give a damn to anyone's opinion about me' attitude would land me into trouble with the person whose opinion would matter to me.I had laughed at her claims and scoffed off the thought, pretty confident that no one would ever matter to me for me

It will help reduce the sweet taste." She pushed the plate of cookies towards me and I took one quietly and munched on it. "Too much sugar is what helps me be charming and sweet." I said trying to overcome my awkward situation. Zavi snorted delicately. "Sweet and charming! You are known to be arrogant and rude." "Known by whom?" I questioned frowning trying to ignore the voice in my head that said she is right. "You are a well kno

Saira's POV. "Zavi it is just you and me here for at least some time. I am sure Dhruv must be looking for us but I am not sure how far the currents have carried us in that storm. We were not too long ijn the sea so I am sure help will not be too far." I nodded before remembering he could not see since he was not looking towards me as he had promised he will not. And somehow I do trust him. I sat quietly as I heard sound that told me he was adding some dry branches and twings that he had collected and soon I could feel the fire be larger than before. It crackled and some bits of sparks kept flying around as the occasional not so dry wood may be coming in contact

On the contrary I was having a tough time trying not to laugh out loud. Leonardo can be so adoring and cute at times that it just does not suit with his Casanova image! Even in the not so bright light by the fire I could make out the man had gone red in the face due to embarrassment! A Casanova asks a girl to strip with the good intention of her not falling ill and then blushes because of the way it sounded. I coughed a

Saira's POV. This man has been trying his best to meet my expectations and win my heart. To have someone like him in my life I would have to be terribly lucky. However luck has not been particularly fond of me in the recent years. Coming close to me will complicate things for him. Mira holds a very special place in my heart and my life. I understand her internal trauma and mental stress but I cannot risk a repeat of what happened to me that fateful night years ago. And today- I do not remember how I fell into the ocean today but I cannot rule out Mira's involvement - I shivered at the very possibility and could not even bear to think about it.

Leonardo's POV. The boat rocked making me stumble but my determination was stronger than any rational thought my brain could conjure. I felt eyes on me but I did not stop to check. Lifting my body up I dived into the only water. Taking a deep breath I started swimming in the direction where I had seen the dolphins in the distant. The streak of light blue between them may have been visible only for a split second before disappearing but I knew that colour was of Zavi's gown. I could hear faintly Dhruv's voice calling out to me in the background over the din of the motor boat and sounds of my swimmi

No matter how much I tried I was barely able to move my limbs. They felt so stiff and heavy. With effort I pushed open my eyelids only to feel a sudden piercing pain in my eyes. Water! Sea Water! I shouted looking around indenting my voice to reach the miscreant. "Leo?" Dhruv's voice made me turn around to face him, "What is it?" I snapped. "Easy old man. Dressed in a formal trouser suit she looked every bit professional that she wanted to be. The navy blue seemed like a stark contrast to her reddish brown hair. Though I could not see her eyes from here I am sure the moss green colour must be looking even more lively and blazing today. The figure hugging suit clung to her, giving a hint of her curvy body without actually giving away any detail. As I moved closer to her my smile got bigger. I groaned silently when she moved away from the table she had been standing near to another further away. She was probably not even aware of my presence unlike the other occupants of the room.
