Hi hi, everyone, I apologize for the lack of updates in the last two weeks or so. I had to put writing on hold to focus on real life demands, as I’m in my final semester of college. I hesitate to say this next part because of how seemingly bad I am at keeping promises, but I’ll be putting it up for accountability as well as manifestation purposes: MBTA will be finishing next month. It was a rousing speech, and when she finished I could feel goosebumps rise up on my skin. To my surprise however, my Pack mates didn’t fall over themselves to volunteer. In fact, no one moved an inch, and beside the sound of a quickly muffled cough the entire place was silent. I frowned and looke
Layla’s POV Eventually, Hector called the meeting to an end and all the gathered werewolves dispersed. Sounds of their idle murmurings drifted past my ears, and as I listened I couldn’t help noticing that the air around me seemed charged with anticipation. We were all fired up and in a hurry
“Now, High Priestess,” my mother started, “Estella is going to lightly nudge you to do something and if you’re observant enough, you may even pinpoint the exact moment she tries to influence your thoughts. In either case, you’re supposed to think of your mind as a thing protected by walls. How you v
