Nothing to see here: just a tender Hector-Layla moment to wind down some of the seemingly never ending drama. Of course, I’m evil, so don’t get too used to them. The past few days have been so overwhelming for me that it’s hard to keep track of, and I wasn’t able to update yesterday because of some health issues. I’m good as rain now, though, so I’ll try to push for five instead of the usual four chapter updates this week as an apology. Wish me luck! Hm, what else? Well, I’m super excited to have you see what I’ve cooked up for the next chapter. I won’t say anything else on that front, but you’re welcome to guess. (Wink wink.) Layla’s POVSparring around the field had started up once members of the Blue Moon Pack began to disperse. At Morgan’s announcement though, I felt a shockwave spread through the entire field and every single activity stopped. The entire place grew so silent that only the sound of the wind whipping
I bristled, and I was sure that my whole Pack did too, but even then I had to give it to the small woman: She had played her hand beautifully.A lot hinged on this fight symbolically, since it was the first between our Packs, and if I chickened out it would be an insult to my whole Pack. “Layla,” A
