Dear readers (Mathieu again), I am floored by the amount of support MBTA has received since we last spoke. You all came through so unbelievably hard, and I would thank you by name if I was sure that was allowed. Rest assured, I see you, so keep leaving your rated reviews, gems, comments, etc. I noticed some questions about how frequently this book is updated, and the answer is that I try to average four new chapters every week. I juggle a rigorous Law degree with my writing, and it may not be as frequent as it should be but I try and I’ll continue to work harder to make this a story you won’t forget. What were your thoughts on this chapter, and do you have any theories on what’s to come? I look forward to hearing them!

Layla’s POVHector was silent for a long moment as he stared sightlessly out into the crowd. He looked deep in thought, and as the moment stretched out a feeling of deep unease bloomed inside my chest. I could reach for the mindlink between us, tug it to check and see if there was anything I could
I may have even snickered, but that was only because of how good it felt to see the tables turned on her for once.It was taboo to put the chosen Luna and a High Priestess under the Alpha Command according to werewolf tradition—but that was where the limitations ended. Every other person was fair ga
Layla’s POVNot long after Hector had made his exit, the welcome banquet for the Blue Moons came to its natural end.Delphine was the first to leave. Shortly after the doors closed shut behind our Alpha, she straightened up to her feet from the bow and shot me a poison-filled glare, before turning
The Fabrini household thrived on omissions, and I didn’t see that changing anytime soon.“Be safe,” my father told me as I started to leave the hall.I almost snorted at this, but somehow I kept my composure and with a noncommittal noise I made my way out of the hall, ignoring the eyes that pressed
‘He doesn’t need us.’‘How do you know that?’ my wolf shot back.I rolled my eyes, letting out a huff of annoyance.‘J–Just because, okay?! I just know it.’Lea shook her head in disappointment, and it struck me as an oddly human gesture.‘That isn’t even an excuse.’It didn’t look like she was goin
