Chapter II

A month later, Mira gave birth to their twins and they were so happy to welcome their little angels. They have one boy and one girl thus they named them according to the names that they have decided to give to the babies. They haven’t found out the second gender of their children. Usually, when it is a girl, it could only either be an Alpha or beta since Omegas can only be identified to a baby boy or male teenager. 

“Congratulations Mr. and Mrs Suzuki, you’re son is the eldest while you’re daughter is the youngest,” said the Doctor of Mira

“Thank you doctor, when will I be able to see my kids?” asked Mira who just woke up after a few hours of rest from giving birth.

“Well, as we speak, the nurse is already getting ready to take your kids here, just wait for a little bit and the two of you will be able to see them. Although I believe that you already saw them when you gave birth to them right?”

“yes, but I want to hold them both in my arms since I’ve been waiting for this moment for nine months” Mira was just so excited to see her twins. She knew that her husband was able to hold them while she was sleeping.

“*chuckle* of course, I understand. Now then, I’m done checking your vitals and everything is stable. You just need to rest for two days here, and you can go home after that,” said the doctor to Mira

*knock*knock*knock*

“oh! That must be the babies! Honey opens the door quickly!”said the very excited Mira to her husband Jiro who did what his wife asked him to do. As soon as he opened the door of their hospital room, he was greeted by two nurses who are pushing one baby bed each. He saw his twins sleeping soundly in their own bed, he opens the door widely so that the nurses could enter along with the baby beds.

“Oh my god, they are so cute” exclaim mira who is now holding her son in her arms while jiro took his daughter and went beside his wife for her to see their daughter. 

“Eiji and Melissa, those are their names. They look so much like you honey” said jiro as he caresses his daughter’s cheek.

“hehehe, for sure they also got something from you hon so don’t be sad. Thou it looks like our daughter would be spoiled by you” 

“hahaha! Well, she’s very beautiful and I bet that she will look so much like you when she grows up” said jiro. The doctor will always be glad to see this kind of scene during her duty. The joy that can be seen in the eyes of the new parents or not, the bundle of joys that a child could give will always be priceless. 

“doctor, It is already possible to know their second gender right?” asked Mira 

“yes, that’s right. Do you want to know their second gender now? I actually have their health report that also contains the details about their second gender.” 

“yes, even though we already know that they are both alpha, we just want to make sure about it too” said jiro who looks at the doctor seriously. He is very confident that both their twins are alpha like them.

“right, actually your daughter is indeed an alpha but your son is an omega.”

“omega? Wait that can’t be, me and my wife are both alpha, there might be something wrong with the test, you should repeat it” said mira who can’t believe that her own son whom she is carrying at that moment is an omega. She knew that both her family and her husband’s family were all alpha, so it is impossible that her son is an omega.

“well, to make sure about it, I already asked them to do two test for both of your children and the result were still the same.”

“that can’t be, honey take eiji back to his bed, I want to see the result of my son” said mira which jiro did. He first places his daughter back to her bed then took their son and place him to his bed. Mira took the test result and read it thoroughly and saw the same result of omega gender on her son’s health report. Her eldest child is an omega, and she don’t know how to feel nor what to do.

“I understand that the two of you are confuse but what happened to your son is considered as one of the rare cases of twins in our country. By scientific explanation, the child develops his second gender mainly because of the blood of his alpha mother and alpha father. Plus his other twin was also an alpha, this happens when you are all dominant alpha which you all are. He became a dominant omega rather than an alpha. There are few cases like yours in the capital and since there are only few cases of it that we doctor consider it as a rare case in twin’s second gender. So please just be a good parent to your son and that would be enough for him to have a great childhood” said the doctor who knew that her patient didn’t like the result of her son becoming an omega instead of an alpha like them.

“we understand doctor, would it be possible to leave our twins here? I want to rest with them here?”said Mira who deep inside wanted to cry and shout for having an omega son.

“of course, the twins are both healthy, so they can stay here with you plus your room is big enough for all of you. You should rest now and we will be leaving then” the doctor left the family of four together with the nurses who were inside the room with her.

Both mira and jiro looked at their son with concern, they both don’t know what to do. Both of their family would not like it when they got to know that they have an omega son and their eldest to that.
