Mansterville Part 5A few days had passed since Waverly's encounter with the two brothers. She had kept herself locked up inside the house just to avoid running into either of them.To her surprise Bailey had not come over which she was actually grateful for, but it did confuse her. She thought he'd have been banging on her door asap since they had come so close to doing the do. Maybe he wasn't as interested as she thought he was. She didn't really give a care right now. She wouldn't have answered the door if he had anyways. Maybe he realized she needed some time away after what had happened between them. For whatever reason she was very thankful he had kept his distance. However she had definitely noticed Tayzon standing out in his yard on more than one occasion staring at her when she sat in her little window seat. He would just stand there gazing up at her, his face void of any emotions. Waverly began sitting in the front room when she read just to hide herself from him. It caused
Mansterville Part 6 I stopped dead in my tracks turning to face him."I bet you think your some big Don Juan don't you? Huh? Using that....whatever the hell it is to draw women in just so you can pounce on them....then move on to the next unsuspecting victim with this little game you play. Well I'm here to tell you.....i'm not playing and you will not pull me into your screwed up world." I scoffed turning on my heel to walk away. All at once I was snatched up & held against the wall as sparks flew between the two of us taking my breath away completely. "I'm not playing any damn games little lady, you can be sure of that. Go ahead and try to convince yourself that you don't feel this." He suddenly pushed himself closer and pressed his soft warm lips to mine. I became weak in the knees as he held me steady, his lips molding perfectly to mine. Then turned me lose just as fast. I stood flabbergasted at his actions and words. He walked outta the room leaving me up against the wall which
Mansterville Part 1~Waverly~It was around the end of October when the convoy of moving trucks rolled up in front of the gated old mansion that sat just across the road from us. I had heard them coming down the private drive, gears grinding & shifting. I was actually very impressed they had managed to maneuver the huge 18 wheelers down the winding narrowed pig trail. I stopped halfway up the stairs rushing back down to the sitting room as fast as I could.I jumped onto the sofa peeking out the blinds at the enormous home across from us that had sat abandoned the entire 7 years me and my mom lived here. I'd always assumed the place had been condemned for one reason or another since no one except an older fella that kept the grounds clear ever came around. I guess my assumptions had been wrong. Before I knew it, over a dozen large men were marching about toting heavy boxes and furniture inside the large structure like a well trained army. After snooping for a solid 20 minutes or so
*Mansterville Part 2*~Waverly~I had finally settled down after the most exciting day I'd had since mine & Shay's last trip to the new mall a couple towns away. What with the sudden arrival of our unusual new neighbors, not to mention the high school stoner's claims of a hairy feral beast running rampant about town. All in all it had indeed been quite a riveting day. I laid back on the sofa with my tablet twirling my hair reading a book. Suddenly my ears picked up on one of the moving trucks rumbling to life. My eyes shifted curiously as I pulled myself up from the couch slinking my way to the door cracking it open to peer out sneakily.I was tired of being cooped up inside and thought maybe I should just slip out for a little evening stroll through the yard. I slipped on my battered flip flops and one of my mom's old ratty sweaters hanging on the small coat rack & headed out the door.I ambled across the veranda and down the steps onto the stone walkway. A chilly breeze kicked up
Mansterville Part 3 ~Awkward~ ~Waverly~ I had spent the better part of the day searching through mine and Shay's closets for the right clothing to wear this evening. I finally settled on the very thing I'd tried on at the beginning. Isn't that how it usually goes? You stand there in your skivvies pissing & moaning about having nothing decent to wear, then end up choosing what you had on to begin with, after countless hours of stressing over the shit. My fav jeans, one of Shay's new tops, that I had talked her into buying, a comfortable pair of boots and a sweet jacket I dearly loved for my perfect....not so perfect outfit. I had definitely focused way too much on this today and by the time I was completely dressed, groomed, and content with my mein, I was worn out and ready for a nap. I had never been the type of gal to try and impress anyone with my non-existent fashion sense…especially a guy. Comfort was my credo, until Mr hot ass bad boy came swooping in making googly eyes a
