Tino and Isabela trudged along the narrow pathway toward Leonida’s house, the trees on either side swaying gently in the breeze. Isabela wore a headscarf, carefully drawn around her face to conceal her identity as they walked. The path was familiar yet ominous; danger lurked everywhere. But thanks to her precautions, they managed to reach the house without encountering any problems.

Instead of heading for the front door, they took a well-trodden path around to the back of the house. It was safer that way—more discreet. They reached the basement entrance, and Isabela knocked softly on the door.
