“Eros?”
Today I was discharged from the hospital, but Eros still hasn’t returned. So I called to tell him.
“How was your day?” Eros asked from the end of the phone after I called his name, “You call me more often after being in the hospital.”
“I promised I would contact you. And I’ve kept my promise. Oh, yes, I can go home now. I called you to let you know.”
“I’m still busy right now. After lunch, I have a meeting. So, I can’t pick you up. It is okay, right?” Eros asked in a guilty tone.
Why should he feel guilty just for not being able to pick me up?
“It’s okay, Eros. What time will you be home later? Do you want me to cook dinner for you?”
“You’re still sick. I just want you to rest and do nothing. I’m likely to be home late at night. So, you go to sleep first.”
