“Cici!”
My gaze turned straight as I walked closer to Cici — my cat — which I adopted a few months ago. A small cat with grayish-white fur was leaning on top of the back of a woman’s feet I met just yesterday.
Kanya shifted her gaze from Cici to me. She was shocked very clearly from her two eyelids held high when I called out the name of the little cat.
“Is this your cat? Why ... can it be outside?” I let Kanya curiously ask before I answered.
