Vanna's POV

I couldn't move my entire body at that moment. I had just woken up to the cold splash of water. I found myself on a beach, as if I had been thrown somewhere, and I didn't know where I was. My bare skin was in shock, full of bruises, scrapes, and cuts. The side of my lip was bleeding.

I slowly looked around and realized I was on a shore. I had no idea how many hours or days I had drifted in the sea. After what those shameless men did to me, I remembered that they had thrown me from the yacht I was on.

"Magnus..." I called into the void.

There was no one around, and I felt anxious.

"T-t-help..." I murmured as I struggled to crawl and get ashore.

After a while, I saw a child. They were holding a ball. I couldn't understand their language.

"Help," I said, raising my hand. The child quickly ran off; I think they called others to help me.

Before long, I was lifted by a man who carried me to a large house by the sea.
