It was impossible to sleep on the plane this time. Not only did I have to keep my eyes on Fionna the hard time, she wouldn’t let go of my wrist. Seriously, from the moment we picked her up until we got on the second plane headed from Chicago to Paris, the only time she let go of my wrist was to walk through the metal detector at security, and even then, it took a lot of coxing to get her to do it without setting anything on fire or electrocuting anyone. It was the most nerve wracking thing I think I’ve ever done, and that’s saying something. The whole time we were working our way through the TSA line, I thought for sure she was going to light someone on fire, and then the entire mage world would be exposed.
