Alessio's Pov

I stepped out of the black SUV, the night air in Italy carrying a faint scent of the sea mixed with something sinister. It had been years since I set foot in this country, years since my parents left me in this cold hearted world and I had no choice but to move to New York, leaving behind everything they had built. But some things never changed. This was my father's latest warehouse and even after all these years it stood strong.

I straightened my suit, staring at the large steel door before me. This warehouse was a place where the guns were hidden, far from the prying eyes of the detective's. Tonight, however, I felt something was wrong.

Sighing, I pushed the door open and stepped inside. My eyes wandered around the room. It was dimly lit with the scent of wood filling the air. My footsteps were the only sound heard in the room as I walked against the concrete floor. My hands slid across the rows of crates, my eyes roaming around searching for Vincenzo.

I found him

Gabriella's Pov The evening air was cool against my skin as I strolled through the quiet streets, my feet silently making soft noises as I walked. I didn't inform anyone I was heading out, I needed fresh air, something to clear my mind. The city lights flickered like stars, and for the first time in a while, I felt….free. I couldn't help but think that Alessio and I could have had a honeymoon even though our marriage was fake, I still wanted to experience what it felt like. I looked around, enjoying the scenario before me. But no matter how much I tried to enjoy the moment, my thoughts drifted back to Alessio. I bit my lip, sighing. Not that he cared. Not that I should care. But deep down, I did. The thought made my chest tighten. It wasn’t like I hadn’t dreamed about it. Of course, I had. I had imagined the beaches, the sunsets, the feeling of being wanted. But instead, here I was, alone, wandering the streets while my husband if I could even call him that, was probably busy w

Alessio's Pov I was done with her games. Gabriella had tested my patience for a long time and I was done with her tantrums. Without a word, I grabbed her wrist and dragged her outside, forcing her into the SUV. She stumbled as I pushed her inside. “Alessio, what the hell is wrong with you?” I slammed the door shut, ignoring her protests as I walked around to the driver’s side. I opened the door and sat inside. My blood was boiling, my hands gripping the wheel so hard my knuckles turned white. Gabriella folded her arms, glaring at me. “Are you going to tell me what this caveman act is about, or do I have to guess?” I kept my eyes on the road. “Shut up, Gabriella.” She gasped, clearly offended by my words. “Excuse me?” I ignored her. She let out a bitter laugh. “Oh, so you can throw me into a car like a damn kidnapper, but you can’t even explain why?” I tightened my grip, trying to keep my anger in check. But she kept pushing. “You think you can just control me like t

Gabriella’s Pov I woke up with a pounding headache, my eyes turning like someone that had uncountable drinks. News flash that was me, my head throbbed so bad. My mouth was dry, and my body felt heavy. Ugh. What the hell happened last night? Then it all came rushing back, Alessio, his cold attitude, the way he dismissed me like I was nothing. Anger bubbled inside me as I pushed the blanket off. That man had a way of getting under my skin like no one else. I looked around the room, expecting to see him, but it was empty. Of course, it was empty, as it always is. Pushing back the thick duvet, I forced myself to sit up, groaning at the slight dizziness that accompanied my movements. My throat was parched, and as I looked around the room, I realized something, it didn't feel like he slept here last night. My eyes instantly landed on the table by the keft, that’s when I noticed it, a small pill bottle, a glass of water, and a note placed neatly on the coffee table. Curious, I pic

Gabriella's POVI took a deep breath, smoothing my hands over my red satin gown. It clung to my body just right, making me feel elegant, but the moment Alessio walked in, my confidence started to slip away.Dressed in a sharp black suit, his red tie matched my dress, though we hadn't planned it that way. His dark eyes scanned me slowly, intensely. I felt my face flush under his gaze."You look…" His voice was low, dangerous and seductive. "Perfect."I swallowed hard, looking away. "You’re not so bad yourself."A smirk tugged at his lips as he reached for my hand. His fingers wrapped around mine, warm and steady. "Come," he said, leading me downstairs. His grip was firm, like he had no intention of letting go. Every step we took, I was aware of him, his presence, his scent, the quiet power in the way he moved. The car ride was quiet, but not uncomfortable. I could feel his eyes on me, though he didn't say anything. My hands rested in my lap, fingers twisting together in nervousness."N

Alessio’s PovI stepped onto the balcony, gripping my phone tightly as I answered. “Yeah, talk.”Vincenzo’s voice came through, shaky and uneven. “Boss… there’s a problem. I found out who’s behind the shipment.” He hesitated for a second. “It was the Russians.”My entire body tensed. The Russians. Of course, it was them. Filthy, backstabbing bastards. My fingers curled into a fist around the phone, my knuckles turning white. I could feel my pulse hammering against my ears. “What else?” My voice was low, controlled, but deadly.Vincenzo sucked in a breath. “Don… you need to get out of there. Now.”Something in his tone sent a chill down my spine. My instincts sharpened, my grip tightening on the balcony railing. “What do you mean?” I demanded, my voice coming out sharper than intended. “The place has been raided…..”Before I could reply, gunshots rang out. “Shit,” I muttered to myself. Gabriella's Pov “You’re awake,” Alessio says, his voice softer than I expected as he rubs my arm lightly. His touch is warm, almost… gentle. I blink a few times, trying to shake off the lingering haze in my mind.“Here, sit up straight,” he adds, handing me a bottle of water.I stare at him for a moment, my mind struggling to process the situation. Alessio… being nice? Is this a dream? I shake my head slightly, pushing the thought away, and take the water from him. The cool liquid soothes my dry throat as I gulp it down in one go.“Where am I?” I ask, furrowing my brows as I take in my surroundings. The bright hospital lights, the scent of antiseptic, the stiff sheets under my fingers, it all starts to make sense.“You’re in the hospital, Bella,” he replies, his voice low and steady. His hand continues rubbing slow, comforting circles on my arm, sending an unfamiliar warmth through me.I don’t know what shocks me more, the fact that I’m here or the fact that Alessio is being… tender.

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    Trapped in His World

Gabriella's Pov I woke up feeling light, like I was floating. My eyes fluttered open, and the first thing I saw was Alessio’s face, his features looking soft as the dim light of the plane cabin reflected on him. His arms were wrapped securely around me, holding me close to his chest as he carried me effortlessly.“Finally awake,” he murmured, his voice deep yet soft but there was something else beneath it, relief? Concern?I blinked, trying to shake the drowsiness from my mind. “What… happened?” My voice came out hoarse, and my throat felt dry. I struggled to recall the last moments before I drifted it to sleep. “We landed,” he said simply. “You were exhausted, so I let you rest.”I swallowed hard and slowly became aware of the hum of the plane’s engines winding down. The scent of Alessio’s cologne wrapped around me, it was woodsy, rich, and something undeniably him. I should have pulled away, but his warmth was comforting, and my body refused to fight against the ease of his grip

Third person pov The dimly lit room smelled of blood and sweat, the air thick with tension. A single flickering bulb hung from the ceiling, casting eerie shadows on the cracked concrete walls. The metallic scent of iron clung to the atmosphere, mixing with the stale odor of cigarette smoke.Victor knelt on the cold floor, his face battered and swollen, blood trickling from his split lip. His left eye was nearly swollen shut, a deep purple bruise forming around it. His hands trembled slightly as he kept them pressed against his sides, barely able to lift his gaze to the imposing figure seated before him.The man in the chair was silent for a long moment, merely observing Victor with cold, calculating eyes. His fingers tapped rhythmically against the armrest, a patient yet ominous gesture. Behind him, two guards stood motionless, their expressions unreadable, their presence filed with a silent warning. Finally, he spoke, his voice calm but laced with danger."Tell me, Victor. Why didn'

Alessio's Pov The night had a strange silence to it, the kind that wraps around you like a suffocating fog. I hated that silence. It felt like it was mocking me, like it knew something I didn’t. And maybe it did. I sat in the front seat of the car, staring out at the dark, narrow streets of Italy. My jaw clenched as my thoughts raced. Gabriela was still missing. My fists curled tighter.I slammed the dashboard. “We should’ve found her by now.”Carlo looked at me from the passenger seat. “We’ll find her, boss. We just need time.”Time. That’s what everyone kept saying. But time was running out, and we didn’t have the luxury of waiting anymore. I shoved open the door.“Follow me,” I barked, signaling to the men in the second car behind us. “Carlo, you're with me.”We moved swiftly through the tight, dimly lit alleys, the cold night air hitting my skin. Every shadow, every faint rustle made my heart pound harder. I kept scanning the sidewalks, searching for anything, anything that might

My head is killing me."“Mine too,” I muttered, blinking hard. “How long do you think we’ve been here?”“No idea,” she replied, her voice shaking. I looked down, struggling against the ropes, and that’s when I saw it.An old, rusted knife lying just a few inches from my hand.My heart raced.“I think… I think I can get us out,” I whispered quickly. “There’s a knife here.”“What?” she gasped. “Gabriella, no. What if they come back? What if they catch you?”“We’ll be dead either way if we don’t move,” I said, my fingers stretching toward the knife. It scraped against the floor. “We’re not waiting around for a miracle. Hold stillz I’m getting us out.”It took what felt like forever, my fingers aching, sweat pouring down my back, but the rope finally gave way with a rough snap. I barely breathed. My wrists were raw and red, but I didn’t care.I spun

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    No One Is Coming

Gabriella’s Pov I woke up to darkness and pain.My head throbbed like it had been smashed against a wall. My body was sore, limbs numb, and it took me a full minute to register why I couldn’t move.I was tied.My wrists burned from the tight rope binding them to the arms of a wooden chair, ankles strapped down too. Panic rose in my chest as I tried to move, tried to scream, but something was stuffed in my mouth. A cloth. I was gagged.I let out a muffled cry and struggled against the restraints, but the ropes barely budged. My heart pounded louder, harder, echoing in the cold silence of the room. There was a small, cracked window near the ceiling. Barely any light came through, but enough for me to see shadows. Dust floated in the air, heavy and slow. The walls were gray concrete, bare, dirty, and screaming captivity. Then I turned my head. To the left. And my breath caught in my throat. There, on the floor, was someone else. Slumped. Still. Her hands were tied in front of her, her c

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    My Bella, Taken?

Alessio's PovI was boiling inside. Gabriella had just accused my uncle of something terrible. I couldn’t even process it properly, it felt like a punch straight to the gut. I slammed my palm against my desk, the sting of pain burning me a little. How dare she say that about him? My uncle may not be perfect, but he wasn't a monster. No,” I growled under my breath, running a hand through my hair. “She doesn’t know what she’s talking about.”I hadn’t heard from him since that mess in New York. That night still haunted me, the blood, the screaming, the chaos. It reminded me of that night, the night my parents passed. I grabbed my phone and dialed his number. One ring. He picked up."Alessio," his voice came through, weak but familiar. "Uncle, how are you? Are you okay?" I asked, trying to sound calm, but I knew my voice was tight."I’m managing, boy. I'm healing slowly." He let out a breath. "What’s wrong? You don’t usually call unless something’s wrong.”I exhaled, releasing a breath.

Gabriella's Pov I didn’t pack anything. Not a damn thing. Just grabbed my phone, my shoes, and the last bit of dignity I had left. I stormed down the hall of that cold marble prison, the mansion they called home but felt more like a cage. My blood was boiling. Boiling so hot I couldn’t even hear my own thoughts over it.I needed out. Out of the walls, out of his shadow, out of Italy. But first, I needed to get through the goddamn gate."Ma'am, we can’t let you pass," the security guard said, his voice rough like I was asking for the damn moon."Let me out," I gritted out, my fists clenching at my sides. "Orders from Don Alessio himself. You are not permitted to leave.""Are you serious right now? I'm not your prisoner."He didn’t blink. Just stood there like some soulless statue, blocking the path with the weight of blind loyalty. The others behind him looked everywhere but at me. Cowards."You can’t keep me here!" I shouted, and oh, I didn't care who heard. "This is kidnapping. It’

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    The Truth Between Us

Gabriella’s PovI couldn’t stop smiling.Even as I poured milk into my cereal bowl that morning, I caught myself humming a tune I didn’t even recognize. Last night’s kiss with Alessio was still fresh on my lips, warm in my chest, and somehow, despite everything, it made me feel... light. Giddy even.It was insane. Completely.I mean, this was Alessio. The same man who believed ...truly believed…..that my father had murdered his parents. And yet, here I was, in his kitchen, barefoot in one of his T-shirts, acting like we were a normal couple having a normal morning.Except we weren’t. We were anything but normal. And that truth made me sad. I sat at the table, watching him silently as he brewed coffee. His shoulders were tense, lips pressed into a flat line. He hadn’t said much since waking up. That kiss from last night lingered between us like fog. It was thick and unspoken. I stirred my cereal, then finally spoke up. “Alessio,” I said, my voice soft.He glanced at me, brows raised

Third person pov The man sat in the chair, his fingers twitching, his jaw clenched tight. Shadows from the dim ceiling light danced across the sharp lines of his face. His eyes, cold and unblinking, stared ahead as though he could burn a hole through the wall with rage. His patience was getting thin and tonight, he was expecting one thing: confirmation of Alessio De Luca’s death. The silence around him buzzed with tension, broken only by the faint ticking of the old clock hanging crooked on the wall. The air in the room was heavy, suffocating almost, as if it too awaited the news. His men knew better than to keep him waiting. And yet, they were late. Then, the door creaked open slowly. One of his trusted men, Samuel, stepped in. His face was pale, eyes flickering with nervous energy as he approached. The man didn’t move, didn’t speak. He only watched.Samuel swallowed hard and said, “Alessio…moved to Italy.”At first, the words made no sense. The man blinked slowly, processing what h

Gabriella's Pov I sat on the bench, fingers digging into the edge of the wood, my eyes scanning the empty garden like it might give me answers. The sky bled soft shades of amber and lilac, and the wind carried a strange kind of silence. Everything looked... different. Familiar, but changed, like it had been rearranged just for me.I blinked. Was it the vines climbing the gazebo or the faint glow of string lights someone forgot to take down? Or maybe it was just how I felt inside—disoriented, like a page torn from a book and placed in the wrong chapter.I heard footsteps behind me and I turned to see who it was. Alessio. “Martini won't be coming,” he spoke. There was a pause. Then, I asked. “He's not?”“No,” he repeated again, louder this time and it made me so happyThen a light laugh escaped my throat before I could stop it. “You have no idea how good that feels.” I muttered to myself.
