The sudden outburst of violence surprised and intrigued me as I looked at the unconscious man on the floor. I glared at Artem with a new found respect. The native man bowed politely and waited patiently.

From the look of it, this was something that happen often. I looked around for his partner but she was nowhere to be found.

"I am sure he came here alone, his mistress has got herself a new toy, he is no longer useful," Dwayne said and turned to the direction of where the ferry was docked.

I remembered when the creepy lady had outbid another couple for a fair skinned white haired teenage boy. I shuddered as I tried to imagine what that woman would do to the boy. I followed him back to the boat.

Wordlessly, I let Dwayne helped me unto the small boat and we began our journey back to the cabin in the lake on the mountains. It felt like I was stuck in a fucked up fairy tale.
