Breakout (1)

Ryder’s car pulls up in front of the isolated bridge. Scarlett is with him and they get out of the car, wondering why Kat called them there. She’s standing on the bridge with Jim, looking grave.

“What’s going on?” Ryder asks her. “Why did you ask for a search party?”

Kat’s phone call was strange. She requested to borrow his men to conduct a search in this area. Several divers are in the deep water below, searching for something.

“Elle is up to something,” she says at once. “I was tracking her phone last night and found her lingering here.”

This makes Scarlett raise her eyebrows. “What was she doing here?” She asks.

“I don’t know but it was around 2 AM in the morning. She was driving near the forest and stopped there for a while. Then she came here and then left. It was making no sense.”

“I think she was trying to get rid of something,” Jim concludes. “We’re just trying to figure out what it is.”

“How can you be so sure?”

Jim takes out a file from his briefcase and hands it to them.
