CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

THIRD PERSON'S POV

When Valencia and Asher went out to talk, Archer took out a document and started to read. While Adelio looked at Sinclair family with an awkward smile.

‘‘Would you like something to have?’’ He asked, with a polite smile.

‘‘No, it's okay.’’ Mrs. Sinclair says with a warm smile. Adelio nodded his head, not knowing how to strike a conversation.

‘‘Um…can I ask something…personal?’’ Rosalie, Adrian's wife asked nervously.

Archer looked up, but again looked down on the document. ‘‘..Yes, what do you want to ask?’’ Adelio said, with a small smile.

‘‘We…didn't see your mother? Is she not here?’’ Rosalie asked, Adrian held her hand under the table and shook his head.

Archer couldn't take anymore and sternly looked at them. ‘‘Our mother is not anymore. She died years ago. ’’ He said.

There's a long awkward silence, no one says anything for some time then Mrs. Sinclair gently asks. ‘‘What happened with her?’’
