CHAPTER FIVE

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Valencia fell into the river with that man. It was a good thing that there was a river instead of a forest. 

That man hit his head on a rock and died but Val was safe, she swam to the shore and sat on a big rock, taking deep breaths.

She was watching the man's body floating in water with blood flowing from his head. She couldn't figure out her feelings. She feels sad that even after so many tries, she's alive and her attackers are dead.

She pressed on her smart watch. Her wounds started bleeding again, but she just let her blood mix in the river.

Soon her bodyguards came there, they understood the situation and led her to the van, where she changed her clothes.

Valencia was in the school Gym area, boxing, and punching on sandbags. Her focus was only on boxing and music playing in her ears. 

Unaware of the gawking eyes coming in her way. School boys were standing outside of the gym, looking at her with lusty eyes.

Her mid-length hair tied in a messy bun, her amber colored eyes, a small cute nose, her natural pink lips, milky white skin and her slim figure. 

There's no competition against her beauty. Because she doesn't do makeup like other girls. She looks most stunning with her natural beauty. 

All the boys in the school or outside want to be her lover, but she doesn't even glance in their way. They like her cold nature but are scared to get close to her.

Aaron, Noah and Luke were walking by that area and saw boys looking inside the gym.

"Why are they looking inside the gym?" Noah said and tried to look inside the gym room.

"I don't know? Has something happened?" Luke asked.

"Hey, why are you looking inside?" Aaron came forward and asked the boys.

"Can't you see, the ice queen is inside." A boy answered and again focused on the gym.

"Ice queen?" Aaron looked at his friends and they also made space and looked inside the gym.

Their eyes widened as they saw Valencia inside the gym, boxing with a bag. Her hoodie was on the floor as she was boxing in her sports bra and trouser.

"Wow!! She looks so stunning." Luke said his thoughts out loud.

"Yeah, I didn't know that she can do boxing?" Noah says, looking at Valencia.

"But…wasn't she injured because she broke a glass in her palm yesterday?" Aaron questioned looking at her hands.

He noticed some red spots on her gloves.  "Hey!! Her hand is bleeding." Aaron said to his friends.

"Ohh!! Yes." Noah also looked at her in shock.  "Isn't she feeling pain?" He questions.

"By the look of her, she isn't feeling pain." Luke said in astonishment.

"Should we stop her?" Aaron asked.

"If you want to die then surely go and disturb her." A student said.

"He's right. Did you forget what that blonde girl said yesterday?" Noah said and shrugged his shoulders.

"Her family is from the mafia, So let's just leave her." Luke said, patting Aaron's shoulder.

Aaron glanced at Valencia then her hand. He made up his mind and opened the gym door and went inside.

Aaron went inside the gym and put hand on Valencia's shoulder. As soon as she felt hand on her shoulder she abruptly turned around with the intention to punch the person.

But as she saw Aaron, she stopped and looked at him with irritation. 

"Your hand is bleeding." Aaron said but Valencia didn't understand him as she was wearing headphones.

"Take off your headphones." Aaron pointed out headphones in her ears. She took off her headphones and looked at him with frowned eyebrows.

"What? And what are you doing?" Valencia said with coldness in her voice.

"Your hand is bleeding, stop punching." Aaron said and pointed at her hand.

"Thank you but that's not your concern." She says and again turns back to punch the bag.

"Yes, that's not my concern. But if anything happens to you then your brothers will burn down this school." Aaron said, standing in her way to the punching bag.

"I think you don't know what I do to anyone who doesn't listen to me." Valencia said, taking off her gloves. 

"What would you do?" Aaron asked, but she didn't answer and stepped closer to him, leaving a little bit of space between them.

Aaron got flustered by the closeness, his cheeks turned red. Valencia smirked seeing him nervous, they both were at the same height.

Valencia put her finger on his chin and raised his face to meet her eyes. Aaron was so flustered but still met with her eyes.

"I'm not a good girl. I can do many worst things that you can't even imagine." Valencia said, looking coldly in his eyes.

"If you want to experience then keep interfering in my business, when my patience breaks I'll let you know me completely." She added and gently pushed him back and left the gym.

Aaron stood there in shock. His friends came and shook him.  "Hey? Where are you lost?" Noah asked.

"Dude, you literally stepped in that girl's matter and came alive?" Luke said, looking at Aaron.

"…She's so cute!!" Aaron muttered, his cheeks turning red.

"God!! You're blushing!?" Luke shouted in shock.  "Just because she was close to you?"

The class bell rang.  "Leave this topic, and let's go to class." Noah said, pulling both of his friends.

Students quickly went to their classes, Aaron stepped in his class and immediately found Valencia sitting on the last seat, reading a book.

He and his friends sat in the middle seats. Teacher came to the class.  "Hello, students, I'm your new math teacher." A male teacher said.

Students groaned in irritation after hearing the math subject.  "Let's start the class." Teacher said and started taking the class.

Other hand, Valencia ignored the whole class and was busy reading her book. Her bandage was soaked in blood but she ignored it and continued reading her book.

It was not the first time she was injured. She got in the habit of getting injured and neglecting her injuries.

When the teacher noticed that Valencia was not paying attention to class.  "Hey, you girl on the last seat, why aren't you attending class?" Teacher shouted but Val ignored it.

"How dare you ignore me?" He threw the pen on her way.

Aaron gets stunned and turns back to inform her but before he can say anything. Valencia catches the pen without even looking at it.

She spins the pen between her fingers, still focused on her book. Whole class was stunned by her stunt and started clapping.

"Wow!! She catches the pen without looking." Luke muttered in surprise.

"You!! How dare you?" Teacher shouted in anger. Something snapped inside Valencia as she looked up and glared at the teacher.

She stood up and calmly walked towards the teacher. She stood in front of him, dangerously glaring at him.

"How can you glare at your teacher?" Teacher shouted, Valencia closed her eyes and opened again.

She walked near the board and solved the math question written on the board without any hesitation. She easily solved the question and turned back towards the teacher.

"Check it." She says. Teacher started to check them and students quickly tried to solve the problem in their notebook.

Aaron also solved the problem in his notebook,  "It's the correct answer!!" he mumbled.

"It's correct!!" Teacher said and nervously looked at her. Valencia walked towards his seat and pressed the button of the principal office.

"Wh…why do you call the principal?" Teacher asked, but she didn't answer him. Principal came into the class in just a few minutes.

"W..what is wrong? Ms. Cruz?" Principal asked nervously. Valencia turned and smiled.

"You hired a new teacher?" Valencia asked, the principal got scared by her smile and nodded.

Other hand, Aaron was stunned to see the school principal getting scared of Valencia. He gazed at her without blinking.

"He dared to shout at me. ME."  Valencia said and her smile dropped, the temperature of the class dropped to minus degrees.

Principal immediately slapped the teacher hard.  "How can you shout at Ms. Cruz." Principal shouted, slapping the teacher again and again.

Other teachers also came hearing the shouting, when they heard that teacher shouted at Valencia, sweats break on their foreheads.

"Say sorry to her, now." Principal said to the teacher.

"B..but what did I do wrong? She wasn't paying attention to the class." Teacher explained.

"She's the daughter of the underworld mafia king of 'Dark knights'." Other teacher whispered to him.

That teacher shivered as he looked at Valencia. He knelt down in front of her and begged.  "P.. please, Ms. Cruz, spare me. I'll not do it again." 

"Fire him, ASAP." Valencia said to the principal.  "And make sure, he doesn't find any job in this city." She added glaring at the teacher.

"No. Please don't do this to me, Ms. Cruz." Teacher held her foot, begging for mercy. Valencia immediately kicked away his hands in disgust.

"Don't you hear me? principal." She stared at him coldly.

"Y..yes, I'll immediately fire him." Principal says, pulling back the teacher.

"Valencia!!" Aaron said, standing up in his seat.  "You can't fire a teacher like that." He says bravely.

"Sit down, it's not your matter." Valencia coldly said.

"No. You can't fire him." Aaron said stubbornly.

"Do you want me to expel you too from this school? I'll not mind doing it." Valencia said looking into his eyes.

Aaron got stunned and closed his mouth.

"Good. Now sit down like a good boy." She says, coldly smiling at him. Aaron listens to her and says down.

"Take him away and send the previous teacher to teach." Valencia said and turned back to go to her seat. She sat down and again opened her book.

Principal dragged the teacher out of class and another teacher came to take the class.
