Elowen:

A knock on the door awoke me. When I opened my eyes, I saw Dante laying beside me, and my face curved into a smile. He kissed my lips, then he sat up.

“I should prepare for the day, and I will see you when I get back,” he said, kissing my lips again, then he put on his pants, picking the remnant of his clothes.

He unlocked the door, and Lee walked in with her mop.

“Good morning, sir,” she said with a curt bow, and Dante ignored her, walking out the door.

As soon as he walked out, she shut the door and walked to the curtains. She pulled them open, causing me to groan. Yesterday was gone, meaning I had only thirteen days left to appease Adjo, or come up with a better plan to counter him.

“Looks like someone’s been having a good time,” Lee said with a smile on her face. I groaned and buried my head in my palms.

“I’m having the worst time of my life. I don’t know what to do,” I said, getting out of bed, while she walked into the bathroom to start my bath.
